Would get more stars if it could get the sound directly fom PC and not from the speakers; I have to get near the microphone (a mile away) and turn it round to face the PC speakers. Not good. And then, when I finish using the translator I have to get to the mic (a mile away) and turn it back towards me. Gets it right half the time.

Офигительная штука, особенно для стриминга. Мне нравится, что она переводит все что ты говоришь, в реальном времени! Но вот только я не знаю, мне говорили, что данное расширение может переводить все что ты смотришь на том же ют или твиче ( если англоязычных стримеров смотреть.) Но я не разобралась как это сделать, может подскажите?

I could not make this extension work on both chrome and brave browser. I tried all the instruction showed but the extension shows empty only when playing audio or video.

cannot figure out how to get this to work on any video, it only picks up my voice for translation. I've followed the guides trying to get it to work for 2 hours now to no avail.

I am a V-tuber and streamer, and this extension has truly helped me a lot because it allows my international viewers to understand the content I want to share. I think it’s the best and easiest-to-use app I’ve ever found. There is one thing I wish it could do: translate into multiple languages at the same time. For example, when I speak Chinese, I would like it to translate into both English and Japanese simultaneously. Right now, I can only translate into one language at a time, and even though I tried following the multiple-instance setup guide, it didn’t work for me. If the developers could add this feature, I believe it would be extremely useful for many different kinds of work

Can I translate audio from any other application as well? or it only works with browsers?

I am a middle and high school teacher. I love being able to use this in real-time to support my ELL students. It picks up all of my words, even when I am clear across the room. It helps by not having to type back-and-forth. It is quick. Using ctl-shift-+ to make the font larger has been soo helpful. Grateful for this tool!!!

Once I got this set up, it's worked pretty well. As other have pointed out its not perfect but 70-80% of the time you can get the main idea of what is being discussed. I appreciate that it pretty quickly live translates everything being said on screen, and that it will alter it's wording presumably to suit context. That said, the short comings are the occasional times it translates a long string then immediately dismisses/disappears the text. All in all though, it's been a pretty convenient app. Not perfect but very functional. Cheers!

La Extensión es genial pero desde hace unos días me ha dejado de funcionar, activo el iniciar la escucha pero no me detecta nada de lo que hablo no se si se deba a alguna falla dentro de la extensión o que sucede, será posible que el desarrollador nos indique si se debe a alguna falla ya probé de todas las formas posible hasta pensé que era el micrófono pero el micrófono funciona perfectamente.

the extension you made is really a great tool and helpful, it translates videos on YouTube lets say 70-80 % correctly, and it is near correctness to any language, and it would be a successful tool for live transcribing & translating on web stores in the future if there will be improvements. The issue i faced is that when I start the translation on YouTube it works for almost 2 minuets along then there is no more translations appear in the box, why is that happening? I'm sure that I've set everything appropriately but still there is no coming translation , and after that I restart the translation again and it works for 2 minutes then suddenly stops. What is the matter? Why it happened?

This worked great! It caught on to what a V-Tuber was saying on a livestream with very good accuracy (I'd say 70-80%). I just wonder, may I ask why it is marked to handle things like "Personal communications - For example: emails, texts, or chat messages" and "User activity - For example: network monitoring, clicks, mouse position, scroll, or keystroke logging"? I am sure this is to make the extension work, but I am a bit concerned about keystroke logging and such.

Followed the instructions, does not work at all. I press "start listening" and there's no text in the text box

I installed Microsoft Edge developer just to make this work on VK videos to translate from Russian to English - spent hours doing troubleshoot to no avail. Everything checks as shown in the troubleshoot images but no text, none in the box, none in the pop-up window. Tried this on Micrsoft Edge 140 running on Linux Mint 21.1 Update: I finally found an extension that works in Brave and Firefox browsers so I uninstalled Edge - immersivetranslate dot com - free and translates VK Russian subtitles.

it sometimes gets things wrong and it doesn't translate YouTube videos but most of all it is good
