Its great, when it works. I've been using this for over 6 months now, and at first It worked wonders and became my preferred extension when watching any content that needed to be brightened up, mostly on YouTube.(Just make sure to disable SVG Display Mode). After a while it started having problems, specifically not working at all sometimes. Then it just failed to work, no matter if I decided to enable the filter first and then reload the page. I just stopped working.

Surprisingly customizable!? Works super well and the amount of features are super cool. Took me a second to get the hang of it since the buttons can definitely be confusing, but once I did it was really helpful.

i've been really looking for something that would allow me to watch movies late at night and dim/change the screen beyond what it was meant to do, but i can't even get this to work for some reason? I don't know if this is me not knowing how to work this or something else, but i will edit the review if i can get it fixed because if this worked it would be a 5 star. I just can't think of why it wouldn't work, especially when no one else has seemed to have problems with it not even effecting the video. perhaps it is another extension i have clashing with it? that is all i can think of.

First look: features and configurability looks promising. UI is a disaster... ^) (For me.) Especially that fx for mouse click, and settings change by rotating, not moving horizontally or vertially. However this ext deserves 5+ stars -- I found nothing even close by features.

I am usually too lazy to write reviews, but this extension for customizing the display of videos is in a class of its own. I wish Nvidia used the approach for applying filter layers that you provide in this extension. Very impressed. Thank you for such a great tool.

Me permite editar la nitidez de los vídeos y con eso me conformo, algo complicado eso sí con lo de editar los parámetros a "código" pero como programador me parece increíble ya que da muchísima flexibilidad. Y literamente te deja como hacerte tus propios "shaders". Y siempre puedes recibir ayuda de ChatGPT como en el ejemplo de abajo para la nitidez. It takes some getting used to, but in the end it’s very comfortable. But! There is not enough ready-made preset to reduce the brightness and contrast towards naturalness, since many videos are artificially made more contrasty - and they tire the eyes (for an example, see the extension "Video Effects for YouTube And Audio Enhancer" presets "Moonlight" and "Dark" ). It is not yet immediately clear the connection between the buttons at the top and the settings blocks at the bottom in the popup horse - it would be nice if you clicked on the button at the top, the corresponding block would be highlighted. And I would like to be able to increase the size and scale of the window and buttons, otherwise it is difficult to hit small controls.

It took me a while to realise that the icons along the top were for dragging down. I'm also not sure what the 'SVG display mode' switch does

I had previously stopped using this extension due to some issues it had with keyboard shortcuts and twitch/youtube live streams, but I saw the devs respond to a post about the issue when I checked back recently. Post update everything works perfectly as intended, extremely useful/helpful extension 5/5.

Interferes with trying to type in youtube or twitch chat, pressing various buttons does stuff I don't want like "F" (un)full screening, or "D" trying to skip ahead causing buffering on a live stream and various other issues. I've set it to allow on click only so I'll only turn it on when I don't intend on typing on a page.

It works well. But hope the developer adds sharpen node, not sharpen with Kernel matrix.

Using it on a chromebook (Android): It is greatly helpful and versatile. 2 drawbacks: It is designed for a mouse-pointer, touchscreen use of it can be VERY difficult. Knowing, which settings work best may take some trial & error kinda experimenting. Still, it DOES improve videos notably so.

- Very fast, flexible, and modern UI. - The small minus point is that the filter icon does not display the name, so sometimes I have a hard time finding the right filter I need until I hover the mouse over to display the title.

Very useful if you want to quickly edit the color of a video temporally. But it would be better if the developer added a rendering feature so that the user could apply a filter to the video, and download it (like screen recording extensions).
