When you click the “Start” button in the extension popup, the extension will open a new TikTok tab and begin the unliking process. Here's what it does step by step:

1. Opens the TikTok website in a new browser tab.
2. Verifies that you're logged in — if not, you'll need to log in manually.
3. Navigates to your user profile.
4. Accesses the “Liked” tab on your profile page.
5. Clicks to open the first liked video.
6. Simulates a click on the like (heart) icon to unlike the video.
7. Waits a few seconds, then moves to the next video.
8. Repeats this process until there are no more liked videos left.

The extension uses a timed delay (usually around 2–3 seconds) between actions to ensure that it works smoothly with TikTok’s interface and to help avoid being rate-limited.

If TikTok temporarily blocks interactions due to too many rapid actions, the extension will stop automatically. In that case, it’s recommended to wait approximately 1 hour before trying again.

Once the process finishes, you can refresh your Liked tab on TikTok to confirm that all the videos have been successfully unliked.
