JamKit - Musician's Toolbox for YouTube

JamKit is a free toolbox for musicians, designed to give you better control over your learning and transcription process directly on YouTube.

The goal of JamKit is to offer a powerful tool that gathers the most essential features for practicing music. The extension is lightweight, fast, and integrates directly into the YouTube interface.

CORE FEATURES

JamKit gives you complete control over the audio with a clean and collapsible interface.

► High-Quality Pitch Shift Change the pitch of any video in semitone steps (±12) without affecting the playback speed. A high-quality vocoder engine lets you practice, sing along, or transcribe in the exact key that suits you.

► Precise Tempo Control Slow down complex or fast passages (down to 0.25x speed) or speed up the tempo (up to 2.0x) without affecting the pitch. This is perfect for carefully analyzing and practicing difficult riffs, solos, or drum patterns.

► Smart A/B-Looping This is a powerful practice tool. Click "Start" when the section you want to practice begins and "Stop" when it ends. JamKit will then loop the section automatically, over and over, until you click the "X" to clear the loop. This simplifies the process of mastering a difficult passage.

► Adjustable Quality (CPU Control) Need to save battery or running on an older computer? No problem. The "Quality" slider ("Low", "Good", "High") lets you adjust the audio processing block size. A lower setting reduces CPU load while still providing great quality.

► More Features:

• On/Off Toggle: Easily disable the entire extension with a single click.
• Central Reset Button: Instantly reset all settings (pitch, tempo, and loop) with one button press.
• Collapsible UI: The tool sits nicely in the YouTube sidebar and can be collapsed so it's not in the way when you just want to watch.

• Find a video on YouTube.
• The JamKit panel automatically appears in the sidebar on the right.
• Use the controls. It's that simple!
