So far, so good! As mentioned by the developer, you need to set the new commands to "global" and restart (about://restart) for it to work on any tab.

any ways to disable it in other tabs than spotify?

was woking fine until recently I used to chose player key on my keyboard and was working for play and puse now days it asking me to use different keys like command P or something else

Works great! But the "like song" shortcut doesn't work as intended recently. Instead of liking the song it likes the whole playlist. Edit: Liked songs feature was fixed, everything works as intended again!

Soy estudiante y mientras estudio me gusta escuchar en Spotify, esto me viene a las mil maravillas, gracias.

5 stars for intended purpose, it works great for setting up Spotify Hotkeys. However 1 or 2 stars if you use bluetooth devices with Chrome. It affects all websites and media controls outside of Spotify, somehow capturing and disabling bluetooth control functions from headphones and earbuds so when you tap an earbud to play/pause nothing happens. I rely heavily on bluetooth throughout the day but when this extension is enabled I can't control audio or video from ANY website (Youtube, podcasts, movies etc). Took me awhile to find the culprit, tested with numerous headphones and buds, different browsers, all kinds of geeky settings in Chrome and finally realized it was my new Spotify extension. All is working well now that I disabled it.

Only works while clicked in browser not while in apps or applications other than chrome I don't get the point if one has to go back to chrome to use the shortcuts?
