Recently not working in incognito mode

This used to work perfectly for me, but recently it's constantly failing. Without me doing anything differently it will fail to keep a tab in the background, and won't work again until I turn it off and on.

Life saver! Seriously, such an annoying thing to have in the browser.

Is anyone has any ideas why this extension periodically stops working and needs to be reinstalled? I don't change any settings.

This has worked great for years, but a couple of days ago it stopped working. I tried the alternatives, but they are nowhere near as good, however in desperation I reinstalled and presto! It works again. If you find it stops working, try uninstalling and reinstalling.

I don't know why others say it doesn't work, it DOES and it updates correctly. Can you please update it to Manifest v3 so it is compatible with new Chrome?

Works but now adds a pinned tab that will NOT go away when starting Chrome. It just comes back IMMEDIATELY after closing it if there are other tabs open. Uninstalling.

Works on Chrome for Windows, Version 119.0.6045.160.

Stopped working Nov 2023.

Unfortunately this doesn't work for me as of November 2023.

Love this addon! Only one issue I'm having though... I use it with Tab Activate, and whenever I click a link while the browser is closed, it opens to the "new tab" that Don't Close opens. Is there a way to get it to open to the tab that has the link I clicked? If this is a Tab Activate issue I'll post there but I figure it's one of the two not working right with the other.

Thanks for extension, but not working on Chrome. Only in Edge. I mean, I use Edge and Chrome (also Maxthon but doesn't need this add-on). So, it's something changed in Chrome. Waiting for update for Chrome.

This used to work great, but recently the extension stopped working completely. It no longer enforces one "New tab" per window, and when I close the last tab it closes the window. So, it's completely useless at the moment. I've tried removing and re-adding the extension, and playing with the settings, but still nothing works. Did something change with the extension or chrome?

thanks for fixing the weirdness with sometimes an extra new tab opening! (i'm on brave.) it would be great for my visual OCD if the little pinned tab just stayed there all the time, instead of disappearing and re-creating itself. but not if that's gonna break other stuff. thanks so much for this add-on!

Always worked. But, for me, last updated sometimes makes a new tab pop out when I close second to last tab.
