It was perfectly fine until the dev decided to add a limited use for free users. This is a simple pitch changer there is absolutely no reason for it to have a free limit. The 5 second pop-up promoting the subscriptions that appeared every so often was understandable but this is not. Letting people donate to you monthly is well and good but now you're forcing us to donate if you wanna keep using it, which at that point isn't a donation it's paying for something that used to be free. Idc if you need the money there should not be a use limit for something ever so simple as a pitch changer. This "work" you made could easily be done by anybody in a matter of minutes.

Gang u made a pitch shifting extension no reason it should cost money but sadly this was the only one that could pitch shift without distorting the audio That alone deserves a 1 star but Idc enough so ill give u the 5 stars just for how good it use to be otherwise it aint usuable anymore

I really like this extension. I'm a bit saddened that the free version is only 10 mins a day now but I understand where you're coming from. You worked hard on it and for it to work so smoothly deserves 5 stars. When I'm able to, I'll give you $60 to use it forever.

It was alright till now there's a 24h limit after like what, 10x uses? from this recent update (Feb 2026) Having a 3-5sec wait before using was alright and a decent compromise but now this is peak paywall bs. The greed sickens me and I hope the creator undo this nonsense. You're not Adobe ffs.

I'm not giving this extension 5 stars solely because I feel like the UI could definitely have more customisation (themes, colour changing, etc.) I originally was going to write a bit of a more salty review about how much it asks me to pay before using it, and now there is free trials. However, I am going to pay for it. The person who made this is a developer who ORIGINALLY made it for free, using the money as a donation to help him out. This extension has never given me one issue , and quite frankly works perfectly and still keeps the audio as clear as the original. I can understand the paywall, while it's not completely limiting audio or disrupting original audio quality. I use it to pitch my music ever so slightly while recording to avoid copyright issues and it works just fine for me. I can completely understand his frustration with free users acting wholly immature over being ASKED to donate to support a person for working on a product that works for that person. Ignore anyone being salty over the paywall, it pays itself off after time and works exactly how it should. Keep going dude!

The creator of this extension seems to deliberately sabotage the UX, apparently thinking that frustrating users will force them into buying the paid plans. And wow those prices are absurdly inflated for what is essentially a one-trick tool that just changes audio pitch. If you have any development skills, PLEASE make a version that actually works without getting in the way of real work. This is borderline absurd

I cant afford a new chrome computer yet this thing has the audacity to tell me that it wont work because of my setup???? I need it I hope they make a lite version

How many days were in the Pitch Changer Free Trial

Pretty laggy even with a RTX 4050 laptop and sometimes struggles to isolate vocals. But most of the time seems to work alright. Also adds lots of latency to youtube video player

No trial at all? I opened the app for the first time, clicked on two notes and it went to the payment page.
