It automatically detects the meeting language and generates accurate transcripts that can be copied in a single click. This removes the need for manual notetaking during calls and allows full focus on the conversation. The availability of structured sales summaries such as BANT and SPICED makes post-call analysis fast and highly actionable. Before, I used Fireflies where I had to scroll through the entire transcript to copy and paste. With Fathom, I can do it in just one click - such a time saver!

It makes it so much easier for our staff meetings and then when we have ministry meetings with our different groups. I know I can participate and not have to worry about taking notes because Fathom does it for me.

The summaries and action items are great time-savers, but my favorite feature is the video playback. It allows me to revisit key moments and see the actual video, which is crucial for understanding the emotional context and nuance behind what was said.

Switched from another solution a few months back. Fathom is brilliant, I love the interactive meeting playback - being able to click the transcript and jump to that section of video is perfect for me and my clients. I also like that it can integrate with other tools such as n8n.

By far, it’s the most accurate video transcription service I’ve used, and I've used a lot! It summarises notes extremely well, the action points and structured notes are particularly well done too. Once installed in google chrome as an extension, given permission to your calendar, you don't need to do anything else. It automatically asks to join meetings, stays in the background and voila, at the end of the meeting it sends notes by email, which can easily be accessed in your account too! Thank you Fathom! Keep up the good work. Definitely a 5 out of 5 from me.

The transcript in both English and Spanish is top-notch, the summaries are great, and I can share it just with the right people and not just every participant in the meeting. Even the free version has amazing services, and compared to other apps, it doesn't send a multitude of emails asking to join the platform. As someone who has multiple client meetings online every week, I'd be lost without Fathom. I no longer need to take any notes during our calls because I know I will have the transcript of the call (which is very accurate) and a detailed summary of not only the main points discussed but also my and my clients' action points! "Unmatched Note-Taking Accuracy, Especially for Indian Accents" What do you like best about Fathom? I have used several other note-taking tools, but in my opinion, none of them come close to Fathom. What makes it even better is that it’s free, which I find incredible. The accuracy of the output it produces impressed me so much that I upgraded to the premium version without any hesitation. One of the standout features for me is that it works well with Indian accents, even when they are quite strong, something that other note-taking tools often struggle with. To keep track of the action points accurately and even revisiting the recordings which often most tools do not do it for free is quite impressive and helps me go back and check if I have missed anything.

Most Generous Free Plan and Nice Features! What do you like best about Fathom? The free plan actually lets you see AND copy the meeting transcript for use externally. Seems to be video recording all of my meetings still too. Definitely the most generous free plan I can find and i've tried a handful. It also includes a desktop app that makes it very easy to add/remove the notetaker from meetings across platforms, so you don't have to remember what that one robot's email was to invite them. The app also has a delighter feature in telling you when you've been talking too long, or "monologuing"! What do you dislike about Fathom? It's not the most popular yet so other platforms don't have integrations yet to pull transcripts automatically, like Canny. What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you? Primarily, it allows me to copy transcripts to paste in ChatGPT and create documents. Secondarily, it provides a second memory to look up a decision or discussion when I can't remember what happened.

I love Fathom, I love everything about Fathom. I was never a fan AI notetakers until a colleague used Fathom on this calll we were on. I was emailed the call summary and when I went through it was mind blowing how spot on it was, and conversational too, and the video recording. Now I use fathom for my important meetings, and I've successfully gotten more than half of the designers in my community to start using it too. You guys did great with Fathom, I hope to design a product like this one day. PS: I love the pop-up call reminders so much.

I've been using Fathom for over a year now, and it's been excellent. Provides great and instantaneous transcriptions and action items, it's compatible with every video conferencing software we use, and it doesn't seem to slow my computer down.

The best part about using Fathom for me is the Customizable AI summaries and Video meeting recording. I have used other note takers that don't allow me to record video notes and that slows me down when i try to listen to a meeting again. But Fathom has solved that problem for me, I get meeting notes, video recording and an AI assistant that drafts follow-up emails all in one.

I’m a big fan of Fathom. Since I work remotely, nearly all of my meetings and conversations take place over Zoom. While Zoom does offer recording capabilities, the process feels overly formal and cumbersome. Fathom, on the other hand, automatically records, transcribes, and captures action items, allowing me to quickly review key moments without digging through a full transcript or rewatching an entire meeting. I also appreciate the seamless sharing functionality. Attendees can request access to the recording, and with a single click I can approve it. Unlike Zoom, which requires a passcode and adds extra steps, Fathom allows anyone with the link to view the recording. This makes sharing recaps—both internally and externally—exceptionally easy. I tested several of these notes takes simultaneously and fathom beat them all, for what I wanted.

Fathom has changed everything for me in business. Having instant meeting notes, using transcripts to formulate plans so there's a complete understanding of the full intonation has enabled me a clearer outlook to create a strategy in my Work Experience business with. Using those same transcripts to drop into Claude and create personalised blogs, social media content and reports with meaning, intention and heart rather than generic rubbish that some are churning out, has given me more confidence in my outputs as well as freeing up so much time.
