Downloaded Dash videos do NOT play. I installed this extension and then downloaded and installed the CoApp. It downloads the videos, but they cannot be played. Furthermore, there should NOT be any need for a separate app to be downloaded and installed on the computer, because there are extensions that download Dash videos without installing any separate programs on the computer.

I'm confused on 2 points. Does this standalone basically make a screen recording of the .m3u8 files or does it simply allow for a seamless interface between the host and Max Video and download the real .mp4? In other words does this stand alone allow you to extract the master file from the host as an .mp4? Or just screen record the video? And if I get the .exe for Windows it comes with an easy uninstall and NO MALWARE, right?

I've tried many extensions, but this one takes the cake. God bless your efforts!

It does what it says, clean and efficient interface. Not a fan of having to instal a standalone app, but it works great download speeds were a little slower than some other extensions, but the interface was much cleaner

I’ve tried many extensions, but I’ve been using this one since its very release — and it’s truly a gem. The developer keeps it updated, which is rare and really nice to see. Recently I downloaded about 2TB of movies, and everything worked fast and smoothly without a single issue. Definitely recommend! ^_^
