I can’t believe how much more enjoyable reading is now that I’ve installed Readlax. No more annoying sidebars or pop-up ads, just clean text and images. This extension is a must for anyone who reads a lot online. I can’t imagine browsing without it!

I've used this thing forever. Super useful. I think there was an update that prevents me from setting the break to anything other than 5 min. I hope the developers can take a look at this. Otherwise super happy and like the dark theme and task addition

It's simple and easy to use, but it would be helpful to have the following features: (i) a dark mode; (ii) an option to change the notification sound But it's annoying that a new tab (chrome-extension://jdgkhgoanhhnileehaipfpffmnfiiibh/timer.html) opens up whenever the time is up. Just the small pop-up indicating the time is up will be sufficient. Furthermore, the option to create other tasks doesn't seem to do anything useful, or it isn't working as intended.

I became interested in it and installed the Focus Time. It turned out to be a very interesting and useful thing! The Focus Timer has taught me to be more organised and efficient at work. This is just a brilliant thing for routine work overcoming . You should try it!

Very nice app perfect to learn to speedread. What I miss as a function is keyboard shortcuts both for opening the current site with the extension, pausing/resuming speedreading and navigating left and right with the speedreading-cursor. If you the developer(s) could add this function I really would give it a 5-star.

It's OK, and it does work as a speed reading trainer...but the speeds advertised are VERY overexaggerated. When I divided the number of words in an article by the time it took the reader to "read" it, the actual speeds were: 760 (setting) -> 591 (actual) 1410 (settings) -> 1113 (actual) It works alright, but take the "speed rating" with a heavy grain of salt. I'm a speed reading trainer, and would recommend this app to every one of my students IF the given speeds were more accurate.

can you please add options to change the highlight colors. specifically i like to read in dark mode (white text on black background). the green highlight is essentially useless in this mode. nonetheless, great product!!!

You may use sites that plugin specify and the way it show text to be read is highlighting it.

It's good that it has integration with Google Books.But I think more people are using Kindle. It would be great to have integration with Kindle Cloud Reader.

Speed reading apps is a very enjoyable to run. Its simple instructions will make you comfortable to use it. Just loved it.
