This is basically a scam at this point. 1. You don't really know if it's activated. 2. The earning categories are so random and hard to find. On Amazon, 9 times out of 10, you likely won't earn any points. 3. The extension can't even do Amazon, you have to go to the website to manually do things. The whole Aeroplan eStore and affiliate link program needs to be redone from the ground up :(

It just doesn't work most of the time.... which isn't surprising considering how poorly all the estore linkage is implemented. You just never truly know if your purchase will be registered, even if the button says it's activated. It's been like this for years, Aeroplan just wants you to think they have all these partners, but they don't really offer points most of the time, and then have it implemented in a way that you can almost never prove that you did activate the offer or go through the estore links (and even if you do, then you have a hard time proving it because you don't know what cookies need to be set). Considering how long it has been like this, and they never fix it... this is a scam at this point.

This is the WORST! You can only pick from a small list of retailers that they provide. Amazon isn't on the list. The search function doesn't work anymore. This is a COMPLETELY USELESS extension.

Button should list your own selected favourite retailers, but it doesn't. Button should let you search for retailers, but it doesn't work. Points do not get rewarded.

This extension incorrectly renders bold text on websites, and some bold texts only display as normal text. To fix this I have to remove the extension.

This extension stopped working in Dec 2023. When you're signed out, you can see all the e-stores aeroplan has. Once signed in, you get a blank page. If you try searching for Amazon or any store, you get an error message. I've tried using the store via edge and chrome, neither work.

Only shows "featured" which is a list of six stores. Aeroplan has a ton of stores on their webpage but only six appear in this extension. If you try to search, nothing appears. So essentially this extension is complete junk.

Amazon stopped showing up in the extension

I tried to book flight from Toronto Landon England in ascertain date using Aeroplan points the results no available flight, available, i switch to book without Aeroplan was easy and all flights which are not available become available .if you try to use (redeem) Aeroplan points you will find it much more expensive if flight available. I f you try to call Aeroplan for example for missing points ,if they respond they are focusing only on flight.

i would like my points please! not only does the search not work, you have to actually go through and search alphabetically.....to finally log into best buy and amazon aaaaaaand spend $1000s to just not get anything at all. 18 months of inactivity can creep up quickly when you arent paying attention to your point balance (cuz you actually trust both of these companies) points please thanks

Worst extension ever... Used to work for like a month an now its like it is designed not to work and make you loose your points.

Does not work. Emailed Aeroplan multiple times. Support staff brushes you off saying they did not get activation link, then proceeds to ignore your emails. Don't bother downloading.

Worked 40% of the time before, and now has stopped working, it does not start-up when I go to a partner estore. Worst... even if I manually go to Aeroplan estore and click on Amazon, it does open the Amazon window but doesn't register my purchases on Aeroplan. I've lost 1000's of points. AEROPLAN !!!!! FIX THIS and give us our points back. Oh and don't even try writing a "Missing point" message on the Aeroplan site, they neve acknoledge and never reply. Great customer service ! Bravo

Aeroplan Website lists 200 retailers but button does only 6?!?!?!? Reward Ops has got to be the WORST reward management company ever. I strongly encourage any large corporation considering Reward Ops to handle their loyalty program to go anywhere else! This reward button is just one more example of Reward Ops total incompetence.

USELESS!!!! Needs a "ZERO" rating. It has about 5 promoted retailers and nothing else. Search button only searches those (I guess). Either created by totally incompetent people or else just a cynical marketing tool for a few sponsoring retailers. I removed it.

Search box doesn't work at all. Cannot look for any retailers at all. Without the search box, this extension is completely useless.

Why was Amazon removed from the extension? They are still an Aeroplan partner. This feels like it was an intentional decision by Air Canada. Super shady.

Good plan/app but tricky to the extent of cheating customers. First of all, Amazon is missing from the store search, meaning we cannot earn points from Amazon purchases even though Amazon is listed in the Aeroplan eStore. Secondly, it creates the link for a transaction. For Amazon, it has stopped creating the link, meaning no matter what you do, Amazon transaction will not bring you any points. This is cheating. Shameless on the Aeroplan button and Aeroplan that they are showing off but not fulfilling the promise of giving stars. Shame!

Worse extention i ever see most of the time i dont event get credited the point even if the application say i did everything corectly search engine is the worse. Everything related to the estore is garbage.

Extension makes you lose out on purchases because it does not show certain retailers (i.e amazon). The search function is also broken, which gives the impression that many retailers do not participate in aeroplan. Consequently, the extension is best described as useless, broken, and a way for aeroplan to prevent you from earning points.

doesn't work. they've removed amazon from the list of retailers in the button, but they still exist on the app. it's basically useless.
