No longer working as of 17/11/25 Tried removing and re-installing and updating. Its set to work in incognito. Plus ive tried it in both. Not stopping new tabs from opening. Also made sure it's pinned and on. Checked all settings.

So, if a webpage like Yandex, which opens new tabs automatically when clicking to the image section, this plugin will not work until I first click it, and if I do, it will simply prevent Yandex and similar from opening that page at all, even in the same tab? This is worthless!

Great, but with an irritating flaw... It stops you from opening up tabs manually. When it's switched on it does its job well, stopping all those annoying separate tab pop-ups, but you have to switch it off every time you want to open up a new tab yourself. If you can make it so that you can still open up tabs yourself whilst blocking the pop-up ones, it would be perfect.

It's a great extension, but it prevents me to opening a new tab manually or restoring closed tab with Ctrl+Shift+T, maybe you can make exceptions for this? like opening new tab with "+" button or Ctrl+T, and restoring closed tabs with Ctrl+Shift+T. And manually disable and enable needs extra hand movement, it's either you make exceptions or make a keyboard shortcut to enable/disable the extension functionality. And another thing is there's a critical bug when I closed my browser then opening it again it will closing my blank tab over and over again causing my CPU usage go high. I'll change my review if you fix these problems. Thank you Dev!

I think this is fantastic of an extension, i think the only improvement i can think of is if this can have an option of enabling on specific sites like www.domainname.com/* that way you can still open new empty tabs yourself.

Yep if your on sites that open a add when you even look at your screen, this thing will take care of that easy, Chrome doesn't stop these sites from opening tabs forced. This extension will, it will stop the forced ad sites from loading by closing them so fast they won't have time to lead at all so no hassle, and no issue from b-ad sites. This isnt a Anti-virus, this isnt a Adblocker, but it is a Tab blocker and a sanity saver! It's also super easy to turn on and off. Must have!

Works like a freaking charm, only complaint I have is that the icon color can be confusing, you think it's enabled by default as it is green, indicating ON except it's not, you have to click the green to actually turn it on (then it becomes red). It's either the opposite color or current color, every developer does it differently. +++++ 5/5

The dumb me didn't realize that you have to activate and deactivate the extension. It's a good extension, and does what it needs to do.

Does what it says on the tin, but atleast on mobile when reopening kiwi browser with it active it will kill all of your open tabs, needs some work to not just delete your stash of tabs

Parfaitement ce que je cherchais. Ce n’est pas un bloqueur de pub, juste un verrou pour les onglets popup — exactement ce que la description annonce : efficace, sans superflu. Je suggère peut-être d’ajouter un filtre par site à l’avenir, une sorte de blacklist où l’on pourrait spécifier les sites pour lesquels bloquer les popups. Ça permettrait un contrôle plus précis, selon les besoins.

works as intended, but will stop anything new from opening when turned on, including new windows and apps completely unrelated to chrome. this means that if you close chrome with it turned on, you can't open chrome to turn it off. the only reason I was able to uninstall was because I was still able to open an incognito tab, log into my Google account, open the chrome web store, and uninstall it from there. if that hadn't worked, I would've had to do a factory reset through keyboard shortcuts. it works as intended when you remember to turn it on, but there is no easy way to turn it off if you close chrome completely because you won't be able to open it back up with it on, so I say it's not worth the risk as this is a major flaw in it's design.
