Used to be great, but after the latest update of Chrome, I get the same problem as everyone else: all videos play fine for 19 seconds, and then just end up loading. Am not stopping ads or anything, so it's not that causing the problem. Don't autoplay videos, which may or may not be one cause. Can sadly no longer use it. Got this problem earlier too, and then it suddenly worked fine again, without me doing anything. No idea what is going on. But as of now, can't use it, even if I want to.

Absolutely love this extension, but I do have to disable now and then when it starts endlessly buffering all videos after a few seconds. Disabling the extension solves the issue. Would be great if this could be fixed.

Videos will play for exactly 19 seconds and start buffering forever. Started happening somewhere in February. Do not use this extension until devs address and fix this issue!!!

Another user reported this issue and I'm having the same. Videos will play for about 19 seconds than stop and try to buffer. Disabled the extension and it plays just fine. Try reinstalling and it still happens. Was working nicely until the last 2 or so weeks. For now, this will continue to be disabled.

An Absolute lifesaver! Wish I had discovered it sooner! I was getting bombarded by right wing / orange man propaganda, Even though I never clicked on anything to trigger it, (Not even american) As much as I kept selecting ''Not interested'' More would just keep popping up. I used it to block all the channels I hate that were irrelevant and now can just watch my gaming channels and music in peace without having anything political / fanatical thrown in my face by #youtube. Thanks so much!!

Some people complain about bugs, but even if you get the occasional temporary little problem, this extension makes up for it by turning YouTube into something much, much better. I give it 5 stars because I can't give it 500, it's that good. Thank you, devs, Google should be paying you for doing their job.

This extension make videos load far slower

The video focus mode seems to be broken. It doesn't work at all times. Sometimes it doesn't work and i have to toggle it off/on.

The disable 60 fps function works!!!

For some reason this extension stopped working a few days ago, videos would load up until 0:19 and then refuse to buffer any further giving a error "Something went wrong. Refresh or try again later." It works when I disable the extension, I'm kinda puzzled because I haven't done anything different/new. I run this along ublock so I don't use the built in ad manager. Kinda sad that I have to disable it now.

Seems that when a channel is blocked, playlists from the channel can still show up in search results. Please fix this.

Edit: I have installed the extension again to make detailed bug report. However, the extension is functioing as expected. I tested both Iridium as only extension and with all my other extensions and confirmed that extension is functioning normally. One thing I realised while testing is that black list button no longer appears over the thumnails as it used to. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Been working great so far, but recently the videos enter indefinite loading within 20 seconds. I had to remove the extension from Chrome since I could no longer watch YouTube.

Got this for the disabling of the stupid youtube autoplay, this works!

It works as intended, however the Reverse Playlist does not work, reinstalled it a few times and restarted the browser but still does not work. A work around I have found was to use 'Improve Youtube' extension for Reverse Playlist and use the Autoplay from Iridium, since I am having problems with Autoplay from 'Improve Youtube'. Both of these extensions works great together, and using 'Enhancer for Youtube' gives more customization on Youtube so I would highly recommend using all three extensions for Youtube as each one has their own faults/bugs/lack of features and using all three does not break anything as they all compliment each other nicely.

I've installed this mainly for reversing playlists, which has been working perfectly so far. However, after a couple days of using it, videos seem to have a hard time loading and can't go past 480p. I disabled it, and they load in 1080p no problem.

Very good extension, it fixed the problems with i had with youtube besides one. can you make youtube playlist have loop always turned on as an option? (i have a song playlist with over 800 songs and i'm not using youtube songs to listen to them, and after the vids listed number over the number 200+ videos don't go to the next video unless playlist is on loop, not the video, so im requesting this) Thanks.

can you guys add a keyboard shortcut for blocking channels? I have too many channels to block and manually right clicking it is quite troublesome after 100 of blocked channels. Thank you.

works as intended. i have no issues. and if the dev reads this. the extention is now working with iridium. it wasnt before for some reason. sorry that my bad wording confused you, english may be my first language but i suck at explaining things due to my said bad wording. good luck with what you do and im sorry for taking up your time.

Sets off Youtube's adblock detector, even with the ad-blocking features disabled. I've used this extension for years and I hate to leave a negative review but it cannot function right now EDIT: Creator was very helpful and active in fixing this on github. Things now seem to be working now!

Update: Sigh. Iridium is causing a miniplayer to pop out when I scroll down and hit reply to a video. I tested it 20 times and iridium is the cause. It has a setting 'always visible' (stupid setting name). 'Changes into an always visible mini player when less than half of the video is visible, can be moved using right mouse button'. I can move this popout miniplayer with my right mouse button, so iridium is definitely the cause. I have this disabled though and it still appears, so the setting switch doesn't even work. Ffs. It also has 2 settings for video focus. "Fade out the webpage while the video is playing". Video focus with a switch next to it, and at the bottom the same exact setting with switch next to it. This extension has been here for years, how is this overlooked? Was annoyed af because I had the setting off right? Then later realize there's another one I have to switch off that's verbatim to the other one. Maybe now I'll remember now to bother with this extension again. It's a shame because this is the only thing that disables autoplay correctly, but guess I'll have to keep searching for that as I'm not dealing with some stupid miniplayer with a stupid setting that doesn't function properly. Update: Well, tried this 4 years later and the disable autoplay works. After trying about 20 extensions and scripts and this one works, so I'm happy with that. 1 to 5 stars. Doesn't work. Enabled? Youtube video won't play, just buffers. Disable, video works. Re-enable, video won't play. Waste of time. Also, the 'find out what this does' isn't even complete. For a majority of the settings there's no reference.

Reverse playlist not working anymore

Mostly broken. The only feature that seems to be working is showing the video on scroll... Everything else doesn't work or makes youtube throw an error... Shame

I remembered installing this extension back in 2019, but sadly, it hasnt been updated since then.

Loved it but appears to no longer work with the latest Chrome update. YouTube videos will not start when enabled but will when disabled.

Installed it primarily for the ability to reverse the order of playlists (everything else would be bonus features) since some channels set them in order of newest-to-oldest and manually remaking them in oldest-to-newest is tedious. This was specifically mentioned as a feature offered by this extension, but I couldn't find it anywhere after installing it. Also, I couldn't get videos to play. Breaking YouTube while it's installed is kind of a deal-breaker.

It was a great extension up until about a year ago, when it broke and was never fixed. Still has a handful of useful features, but it's not worth installing anymore.

My complaint about the video not loading or playing has already been stated by many here.

Awful. Nothing works. The autoplay stopper can't be used because it stops the video from playing altogether. The scroll for volume doesn't work. Nothing. Works.

I should say... loved it. But it's broken. Video buffer wheel just goes and goes... this extension broke for me around April 2nd, out of NOWHERE. So if you're confused... yup, this extension is dead and no longer supported.
