Great web extension for Anki users

Finally, this is the best extension for adding cards to Anki. It works flawlessly with AnkiConnect; it lists your decks, cards (with the correct fields), and tags from Anki. You can work on the sidebar, and everything functions smoothly and quickly. 10/10.

I use it have got an error like “Error fetching fields”

Truly love it! Wish that it has highlighter and shortcut support for the highlighter. So instead of needing to open the UI, a few highlighting (via shortcut) can add the card instantly after pressing <Enter>. Do you mind trying these idea below? It would be really cool to see. Idea: 1. Ability to use Shortcut to Highlighting a certain text to be copied into a Field. Say if I press <Ctrl-f> it will give me an ability to highlight any text, and it will be inputted to the current Deck Field Template I have. 2. Ability to use Shortcut to Highlighting a certain text to the Main Field (Cloze Type). If I press <Ctrl-f> and highlight any text, that text will be a container, <Ctrl-f> to highlight text within the highlight to be enclosed within a Close {{c1::}}, and <Ctrl-g> to highlight text within the highlight to be enclosed within a Close {{c2::}}? (I also want the highlighting to be regexp customable, it can become "{{c1::[highlighted_text]}}" or people may customize it to something else. (This will be so useful especially when dealing with .pdf document, I can just click any shortcut and it will be send via Anki API) 3. Support RegExp Replacement on Input: Typing "<(hello)>" will give "\1 world" for example. That's all! I am looking forward for this Chrome Extension!

Good idea, I guess a lot of language learners are looking for extensions like this one, but... it has a lot to fix and add yet If you really interested in creating good extension you need to take Yomitan with Abs player as example. I wanted to use this extension to add new words to anki and I was trying to use my own model to add cards to anki, but I couldn't do it while there were some fields left empty. I needed to leave them empty on purpose, but instead i had to fill all existing fields: Word, definition, example, audio, image. Otherwise I couldn't press "Add" botton(that makes it impossible to use). And actually it would be much easier if people could just select a word, press a shortcut to send the word to AnkiTool. Btw, forgot to mention one more very irritating thing, you always have to select the deck and the model, they reset all the time(that makes it impossible to use even more). The extension has to remember the deck I've selected before until I change it myself. But have to say, this is more or less useable extension out there, and if you fix it, I think people like it. Hope you find my feedback informative.

Unfortunately I can't get this to work. I followed the instructions, opened anki, installed Anki Connect, changed the settings in Config to "*" as the video showed and nothing. I've tried rebooting Anki, rebooting Anki Tool, uninstalling and reinstalling Anki Tool, restarting the browser, and restarting my whole computer. Nothing. I open the extension and it just gives me the installation instructions again.

Molto valido per imparare non solo singole parole, ma veramente di tutto: date, regole grammaticali... E' possibile scaricare mazzi già compilati. Il mio rischio è di strafare...

nice

annoying and clunky to use. you can't copy and paste from the same window you have the extension open otherwise it closes the extension and you have to start all over again. It's also kind of annoying that you can't just highlight the words you want and it automatically adds it to the cards, like how other note taking extensions work

Hey, thanks for the app. Could you add a keyboard shortcut feature for sending the selected text to extension? For example, two different keyboard shortcuts for sending the selected text to either the text or extra section of a card. It would be great time saver and more useful.

i really love your extention i would like to share my feedback to so for enhance this chrome ext Now i need to enter back and front card information into each filed its time taking to enter each time so add one multiple textbox and provide some opction to past the string and it will separate automatically by [tab or common] below is sample string ============ 小麦粉 こむぎこ komugiko wheat flour ============

Hey, can you make it so it remembers last used deck and card type so we don't have to put these in manually everytime? Or even better: make preset buttons so when i press "preset 1" it would change these two parameters to preset 1, and when i press "preset 2" it changes these two parameters... The best would be implementing both these features, please make this happen🙏🏻✨ Thanks in advance! :D

The Anki Tool has simplified studying and saved me lots of time throughout the school year. Very intuitive UI. I would recommend to anyone searching for an effective new study method.

chrome pops up "cannot creat note beacause it is empty",why.

This chrome extension is amazing!! I have been using Anki for IELTS, and it's literally saving so much time to add cards. The first setup looks complicated, but just follow the video, and you will be fine. Highly recommended for language learners!!
