Does its job even with sleeping tabs which is perfect as someone who has many tabs lolz.

A bug, if possible need fix ASAP. Toggle ON the "Allow in Incognito" setting from Extension Details screen and then if we click on icon to close duplicates in normal mode, that also closes in Incognito mode and viceversa. Also count it shows on icon also showing total combined count of duplicates(in normal and incognito). Please fix ASAP.

Generally very good thanks. I have a feature request - when the duplicate to be closed is a pinned tab, either don't close, or close the non-pinned instead (even if active).

Simple and functional. No options whatsoever. A nice alternative to Duplicate Tabs Closer, if not a full replacement in terms of features.

Lacks any settings similar to Duplicate Tabs Closer which granted features like dictating which tab to keep in instances such as individual duplicate closing, choosing to keep older or newer tab, automatic duplicate closing (no clicks required), etc. This is a good start but needs more work to keep up with the original.

works good thank you. but please when there's a duplicate tab and the user is on one of them, it should close the other one that's not currently active, it's a bit annoying that it closes the one I'm browsing

i works for me but please fix a bug: it closes the current tab while it should close other tabs that I am viewing.

Love the extension but I noticed even when it is set to be a "dark" icon, it reverts back to a light icon regularly. I have to go back into options, swtich it from dark to light and back again. That's a little annoying but overall I highly recommend it.

Nunca me preguntó ni solicitó confirmación de qué es lo que se iba a cerrar. Tenía varias duplicadas por una razón, y me cerró todo, sin opción alguna de elegir. Pésimo. En lo particular, absolutamente inservible. Arrepentido totalmente de haberla instalado y usado. Sólo un click bastó para arruinar completamente mi disposición de pestañas.

Closes the current tab if it's duplicated. (why not to close the other than active tab?) Should add the functionality to group tabs by domain and suggest for closing.

Does what it says on the tin. - The extension icon shows you the number of detected duplicated tabs on your browser. Though sometimes it might not always be accurate? - When you click the extension it automatically closes all detected duplicates BROWSER WIDE instead of only the current window. - Once you clicked, it might lag/freeze your browser a bit for few secs depending on how many tabs it needs to close. - Once done you can't undo it! The closed tabs won't show up in "Recently Closed" in your browser History. - Non Chromium-based browser: Tested with Opera - duplicate tab detection might not work as well as it seems this extension was unable to detect duplicated tabs in multiple Opera Workspaces.

Nice idea, but it uses script injection to access the clipboard, which means the user is prompted with a permissions dialog every time they copy a URL from a new domain. I would try using the offscreen API instead, which was created to allow manifest V3 extension service workers access to DOM APIs.

Es básica y funcional, no parece consumir muchos recursos, cierra todas las pestañas duplicadas abiertas, la cantidad de pestañas no se llega a leer desde el botón el texto porque es muy chico y el contraste con el color rojo no ayuda a distinguir el numero de paginas duplicadas, tampoco especifica si cierra por url exacta o semejantes con variaciones, eso estaría bueno aclararlo y que en las opciones agreguen la opción de lista blanca y mas personalizaciones que se puedan activar o desactivar entendiendo que consumen mas recursos mayor grado de opciones activas.

It works great, but I'm unable to set a dark icon. It works when I open the extension's settings and change the icon from dark to light and back to dark, but after Chrome restarts, it's light again.

This is a great implementation of a duplicate tab closer addon. No nonsense, lean and performs task as advertised.

Googd alternatives for "Close Duplicate Tab" since it will be no longer supported. Hope this extension can display how many duplicated tabs like "Close Duplicate Tab".
