I use peeper to debug some complicated styling that my company likes to use. Unfortunately, they also like to change it on "offer" pages, which change all the time, which means... I *love* this extension because it shows me exactly what is going on. Keep up the good work!
I dont like being hijacked with something I didn't know I was going to get, when you shop and go to the checkout it pops up a banner wanting you to select a charity to donate to (CSS Peeper has partnered with Give Freely)
OMG - I love this extension. Makes it so easy to debug my css. Thanks!
This extension is loading ads not related to extension itself. Reporting abuse and deleting is the best decision. If you don't trust me, just open devtools and when you see an unexpected banner see the source of the request.
À chaque achat que je fais un achat sur un site, cette extension fait apparaître un popup pour que je fasse des dons à des associations...
Love this app. Lets me see everything in real time and debug my css so much easier. Works nicely on some pretty complicated css. Nice job, css peeper team!
I am a UI designer for over 10 years now. CssPeeper is a total game changer for me. It lets me quickly inspect styles, grab colors, fonts, and assets right from any website without digging through dev inspector. Super intuitive and saves me hours in design handoffs and competitor research. Absolutely essential in my toolkit!
Very nice so far! The inspector is much better and handy than the built-in in dev tools.
What an amazing tool! Incredibly helpfull for my development process allowing me to quickly pick up CSS properties like colors, font families, assets, etc. And I can even export them into a zip file! I recommend this one!
Inserts advertising on all pages.
Been using CSS Peeper for my tech enthusiast projects since 2023, and have never looked back using this excellent tool. I've been using the free plan for over 16 months, and I eventually used the premium plans, which is a game-changer. Whether your first project is webscraping or website design, CSS Peeper should be part of your tool set. Your workflow will be accelerated 10 times once you start experimenting with the tool.
It tries to load alot of Ad related code and causes errors! Will be reporting this! Error with Permissions-Policy header: Unrecognized feature: 'browsing-topics'. Error with Permissions-Policy header: Unrecognized feature: 'run-ad-auction'. Error with Permissions-Policy header: Origin trial controlled feature not enabled: 'join-ad-interest-group'. Error with Permissions-Policy header: Unrecognized feature: 'private-state-token-redemption'. Error with Permissions-Policy header: Unrecognized feature: 'private-state-token-issuance'. Error with Permissions-Policy header: Unrecognized feature: 'private-aggregation'. Error with Permissions-Policy header: Unrecognized feature: 'attribution-reporting'.
Pumping ads anywhere, nice
I am reporting a Chrome extension that has caused significant issues in my web development environment. The extension, designed for inspecting web page fonts and colors, injects malicious code that simulates non-existent programming errors (such as type errors, module conflicts, or dependency resolution issues) within local web projects.
Not all features available without subscription. Everything that is available in this application without a subscription can be obtained independently from the browser developer tools
Making such a trivial service chargeable is thievery
Really love this small extension! Makes it sooo much easier to see fonts, colors, and spacing without digging in code. Super useful if you do design stuff. Been using it for a while and def recomend it!
overall is good but most of good features are hidden inside premium!
Useless extension. Most of good features are hidden inside paywall. Removed within 10 mins. Wasted my time!
После обновления работает криво - не запускается нормально. Обидно. Раньше пользовалась постоянно
I added this extension and removed it in less than 10 minutes. it's honestly the most useless extension you could ever add to your browser. it's just an html document that literally contains paywalls. you can't even use it for basic stuff that other free extensions offer without a problem. and seriously who would pay for an extension that's just for viewing css?? like are you kidding me? another thing is even the paywall is lagging on my 16gb pc. yeah i re added it just so i could leave this review and now i'm gonna remove it again
Such a great tool! Makes previewing styles way easier and faster. Super clean and just works. Can’t imagine my workflow without it now. I'm so glad I've found it!
Once upon a time, this was a great tool for developers. Blah blah blah something about developers deserve to be paid for their work blah blah blah go download a different extension because this one has become useless.
I love this new update with! Sidebar gives me instant access to all elements, making navigation effortless!
Love this tool! CSS Peeper makes inspecting websites so easy. The smart inspection features show me exactly what I need without digging through code. Typography analysis is spot-on and the color extraction saves me tons of time. Essential for any web developer!
everything is in premium can anyone tell me how to crack this extension i really need it
Developers locked the most important feature behind a paywall recently. (Exporting images from sites used to be free, now it's part of the premium plan, extension is basically useless. Uninstalled)
Turned it OFF when it started inserting some nonsense "plasmo-csui" element in every page. If you need to debug your product or track usage, polluting the user's HTML is VERY scummy behavior. DONE with this enshittification.
Great until premium launched. Uninstalled and went elsewhere.
Extension super jusqu'à la version premium… Tchao.
Premium push is bad ux pattern.
I miss the old css peeper.
Depois da última atualização ficou muito pior de usar. A outra era 5 estrelas.
Eén van de beste chrome extensies, tot er een paywall kwam...
C'était génial et tout est devenu premium
Was very useful, now its just pushing for the premium narrative and won't be using anymore! I liked the old UI better and the old version where you can use it absolutely for free without any costs! what a shame, finding another alternative that's not a total cash grab like how CSS Peeper is now.
Used to be great. Cash grab after last update. Annoying blurred window promoting paid plan overlaps all the time. Back to ctr+shift+j times.
Last update is a downgrade. Less precise. Pushing for premium..... What a pitty. Looking for alternative
Was the best app but it is no longer usable with the UI changes tied to subscription requirements. The blurred text taking up 90% of the visible UI is distracting for the free version. In addition, the basic functions seem to be broken. I'd consider paying for it if the free version was actually usable - makes me worried I won't get the value for the cost when they don't even QA the free version. I'd recommend having two apps, one free with the previous features, and on paid that is promoted as link on the free version to limit similar frustrations. Sincerely, – A past fan, advocate and promoter of this addon to all my friends, family and coworkers
Stop monetizing everything for god's sake, new UX is awful A better option would be to return to previous version that was WAY more pleasing to use and let people donate if they want
It's no longer free. They have added a paid plan and is unusable for most web developers/freelancers. 1 star for betraying your community.
Why make it a subscription? It’s an extension, for goodness' sake. I’d even understand a one-time payment more—but a subscription?
Extension is not opening after latest update
Great tool but that scroll after closing is driving me crazy.
Doesn't give the font weights :-( Will edit review once fixed.
Ottima
I've been using this for years and it's on of my favourite extensions that i have
Great!
非常好用!期待适配 Safari
