The refund policy is very bad

CSS Peeper is quite pleseant to work with and has improved my workflow. It’s fast, intuitive, and saves a lot of time. If you want to make design processes easier and more enjoyable, I highly recommend giving it a try!
Most tools I use offer at least a partial refund for accidental renewals, especially when you barely use the service. CSS Peeper doesn’t. Their strict “no refund” policy is outdated and unfair. Very disappointing.
This extension’s business model seems to depend on people forgetting to cancel the trial. Once you're charged, there’s absolutely no refund — even with almost zero usage. This is not fair or ethical in any way.
The way CSS Peeper handles trials and refunds is unacceptable. They make it extremely easy to get charged, but impossible to get your money back — even with minimal usage. This kind of behavior feels like taking advantage of users.
I really expected better. I used the tool for only one day, forgot to cancel the trial, and got charged the full amount. Support simply refused to help. This shows very poor customer service and a bad refund policy.
Be careful with this extension. The trial ends without any proper reminder, and you’ll get charged immediately. Even if you contact them right away, they refuse refunds. This feels like a trap more than a real trial.
CSS Peeper has one of the worst refund policies I’ve encountered. Accidentally renewing after barely using the service should not result in a full charge with no flexibility. This approach shows zero care for customers.
Their refund policy is extremely disappointing. I used the trial for only one day, got charged the full amount, and they completely refused to refund me. It feels like they rely on customers forgetting to cancel. Very bad experience.
My experience with CSS Peeper was extremely disappointing. I tried the paid version for only one day during the trial, then forgot to cancel before it ended — and the moment the trial expired, they charged me the full amount. When I contacted their support immediately, they completely refused to refund the payment, even though I barely used the service. Their refund policy feels unfair and customer-unfriendly, and the way the trial is handled gives the impression that they rely on users forgetting to cancel in order to make money. Many other services offer transparent reminders and flexible refunds for accidental renewals, but CSS Peeper chooses not to. I don’t recommend this extension to anyone — the billing and refund practices are disappointing, and customers deserve better.
I only tried CSS Peeper for a single day during the trial and forgot to cancel before the week ended. As soon as the trial was over, they charged the full amount through Link. I reached out for support right away, expecting basic understanding and a standard refund for an obvious accidental renewal — but they completely refused. This shows a major lack of transparency and customer care. Most professional services honor refund requests when there’s almost no usage, but CSS Peeper chose not to. It’s very disappointing to see a tool rely on strict auto-charging instead of fair treatment and real support. I wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone.
I used the paid version of CSS Peeper for only one day during the trial, and the moment the trial ended I was charged the full amount automatically through Link. I contacted the support team immediately, explained that the renewal was accidental, and proved that I barely used the tool — yet they still refused to refund me. This feels extremely unfair and unprofessional. Any trustworthy service offers at least a partial refund in cases of accidental renewals with minimal usage. Instead, CSS Peeper chooses to ignore the situation and keep the payment. This is not how a customer-focused company should operate.
I tried the paid version of CSS Peeper for one day during the trial period, but I forgot to cancel the subscription before the week ended. As soon as the trial finished, the full amount was charged automatically through Link. I contacted the support team immediately and explained the situation, but they still refused to give me a refund — even though I barely used the service and didn’t benefit from the paid features. This kind of strict refund policy is very disappointing. Many reputable services allow refunds in accidental subscription renewals, especially when usage is minimal. I hope the team improves their customer support and becomes more flexible with refund requests in cases like mine.
best extension app ever, love you guys
Was perfect before expensive subscription
trash. adds popup on shopping carts now and it states its because they've partnered with charities..um no.
CSS Peeper has completely transformed how I inspect design properties. No more digging through layers of code everything I need (colors, fonts, assets) is organized and instantly accessible. A must-have for any web designer
Há 2 meses assinei o plano e a extensão abriu umas 2 ou 3 vezes, depois de muito tentar. Era pra ser uma ferramenta de uso diário, mas não faz o básico que é abrir.

CSS Peeper is convenient for inspecting styles, but it comes with serious security tradeoffs: -Its CSP choices open it up to code injection vulnerabilities. -It has access to sensitive local services (localhost). -It can send data to external servers, including its own. -It can potentially see your browsing history. Since the extension can inject scripts and exfiltrate data, if it’s ever compromised (supply chain attack, malicious update), it could be weaponized very quickly. The localhost access + weak CSP makes this plugin a serious risk - sensitive development environments, API keys, or private projects could be exposed.
Not Working
It doesn't work...
Very Good
As a developer I don't mind paying for a good piece of software, but I don't particularly enjoy paywalled features and adds being thrown in my face the entire time. Seems like a decent extension, but it felt really spammy to me.
Great tool
Works great.
Essential for Web Creatives.
Be careful, this plugin installs spyware and inserts affiliate links.
kept crashing after few minutes.. had to refresh many times to use .. too fustrating.. Error says => Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'create')
Saves a lot of time!
Looks solid at first but a lot of outdated and lackluster features. for one yo ucant export to css variables, only sketch.. i mean who uses sketch in 2025? Only Pixel is shown for text font size, there should be a button to convert to different formats or atleast show what the actual website used, dont make everything pixels. There's also no class export system, why not have all the detected tag styles exportable as classes? so many ways this would have been perfect for me, but it isnt.
I love how easy it is to use. Clean interface and really useful for design work.
Super helpful for quickly checking CSS on any site. Saves me a ton of time.
Excellent.
Ideal for learning and Inspiration .
Perfect for UI/UX Designers.
CSS Peeper is an essential tool for any developer.
Love this extension! Makes it so easy to see fonts, colors, and other design details without digging through code.
A Must-Have for Designers & Developers.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this plugin is injecting affiliate spyware. I see an affiliate cooking hijacking pop-up, and it's going away when I turn off this plugin.
Trusted privacy and seamless performance.
Time‑Saver Extraordinaire.
As a developer, CSS Peeper is indispensable. I can quickly grab CSS for elements, check color contrast for accessibility, and see layout dimensions in real time. It complements my DevTools workflow beautifully.
Very helpful for quick design checks. Clean and simple interface.
Love this tool! Makes it so easy to see styles without digging through code.
Makes inspecting design so smooth. Love that I can browse color contrast, typography hierarchy, and download assets in a snap.
Being able to see all the typography styles on a page with the Ultra plan is amazing. It helps me spot inconsistencies right away.
Best tool for UI designers.
The upgrade from Free to Ultra was seamless thanks to the 7‑day trial. Semantic color grouping, advanced contrast checking, typography hierarchy view these features elevated my workflow. Truly a must-have for professional designers who care about detail.
