Surprisingly good with my accent, impressed.

Unfortunately I am unable to get this extension to work. The Microphone works fine in all other applications but for some reason it doesn't provide the text. I've trouble shot this thing from every angle. Bummer. Windows 11. Brave Browser. Permission granted forever.

I tried Talk-scribe to speed up email replies. After a short warmup it transcribes fluidly and recognizes punctuation reasonably well. I like that it stays in the browser and doesn’t require signing up. The small initial latency on some sites is the only minor gripe. For everyday drafting it’s faster than typing. It genuinely saved me time this week.

I use its Dictation Pad function for long notes. Then I copy the clean text into documents. Much faster than typing everything by hand.

I’ve been using this extension for a while and it actually works really well. It understands what I say most of the time and saves me from typing a lot. I usually use it when I’m in a hurry or doing something else at the same time. It’s simple, useful and I ended up using it more than I expected.

This app & ChatGPT is my best couple now :)

The recognition quality is solid for conversational speech. There were occasional pauses on complex pages, but it recovered quickly. No audio leaves my browser which is important for client confidentiality. Good balance of convenience and privacy.

Как преподавателю, мне нужно было удобное средство, чтобы быстро фиксировать идеи для уроков. Я просто открываю Dictation Pad, проговариваю основные мысли, а потом спокойно редактирую текст. Очень удобно для мозгового штурма — исчезает лишнее трение между мыслью и текстом. Ценю то, что аудио не отправляется на сторонние серверы. Иногда приложение чуть задумчиво ведёт себя на «тяжёлых» страницах, но сброс всё исправляет. Во время подготовки — незаменимая вещь.

I tried several dictation tools before, but TalkScribe felt different. Installation was straightforward and it worked inside chrome without extra apps. I tested it with Gmail and ChatGPT and it kept the mic active across tabs. The accuracy was good enough that I only needed minor edits. Switching languages took one shortcut and it remembered my last two languages. Overall, it’s become part of my daily routine.

Très pratique pour écrire sans clavier, je gagne du temps !. Fonctionne bien sur Gmail et ChatGPT, super utile au quotidien.

I dictate lesson outlines, then tidy the text with a couple of keystrokes. Switching between English and Turkish has been painless so far.
