once youtube start poping up those annoying message and stoped us using ytb without ads, there it came this extension as tempermonkey script and it was really life saver it worked and stll working perfectly and thanks for letting us enjoying ytb again.

Saves the day when AdTube manages to break other AdBlockers. Since enshittification is in full swing, things will only become worse when it comes to greedy corpos such as Google. Thus, imo 2 bucks is a steal for a solution which so far has always worked well and has done the thing it's said it would. The dev seems to be supportive and proactive, so it doesn't feel wrong to support them. Let's see what future brings.

I'll admit, like many others, to being caught off guard at this going from a free script to a paid extension. However, as discovered during the brief interludes when various things temporarily stopped working over the past year, I very much want something to do what this extension does. Not to mention that $2 is a very reasonable price. I can't imagine how much time is actually spent to keep it working & for any support people need when there is an issue. Plus, the developer was extremely prompt in responding when I reached out for an alternative method of payment so I could get registered. So, I sent them a $20 as a thank you for facilitating that.

I fully understand the hate from people complaining about having to pay, especially after initially saying that it'll be free forever. Unfortunately situations change, that's the reality of it, just life. This extension is amazing and you can't deny that, so 2 bucks for a "lifetime" isn't really a big deal as a trade off, DEVS GOTTA EAT! Honestly though even when the extension was free, it's still worth the money for what you get and for how much work the dev has put into it. The pros definitely outweigh the con. My only complaint is that I would like for Paypal or Cashapp to be a payment option, I haven't paid yet but I plan to. Great extension you made here! -Also a dev.

Absolutely silly to promote your product as "free forever" to being paid. With zero guarantee that it will work forever. Google is constantly updating to squash adblockers and while it's great this one still works for now there's no way to ensure it always will. Sure, it's only $2 but it's honestly the principle.. something so many people seem to lack these days. Sure, go ahead and claim you need compensation.. you aren't wrong but you never should have promoted yourself as being for the people if you were just going to be a sellout if optional donations weren't enough to satisfy you.

Great extension, awesome that it's now available as a full extension instead of just a tampermonkey userscript. While it still has a few flaws, it's by far the most consistent and functional adblocker for youtube.

I've been using this extension for a few months now, before it became an official extension. This is easily the best adblocker I've ever used, and being able to turn off the AI stuff that YouTube likes to force onto us and restore the old video player UI is an absolutely incredible bonus. Being able to remove/ edit things on YouTube is amazing, and has made it so that even on one of my more brain foggy days I can still navigate the site without having so much in the way. Plus the dev is super kind and willing to give out free licenses to people who cannot afford it, which is incredibly appreciated. :)

It does what they're going out to do, but it still needs a bit more refining. I hope this extension gets improved, because the ads on Youtube are getting rediculous.

I have been using the TemperMonkey version of GoodTube, claiming it (as in GoodTube in general) would always remain free, and now you have to sign up for a Trial with payment after 7 days? Really now? Oh, you can still use the TemperMonkey one, it just won't be updated anymore. Not just that, but the extension broke the player itself. I can't click anywhere in the video, nor can't I use my arrow keys (Yes, I have re-installed the extension and yes, I have restarted my browser AND PC). So no, at this point I can't recommend this.

GoodTube has been The best Youtube adblocker for a while and now they officially an extension, they have so many options and a really easy to use interface.

imaging developing this to humanity to save time and save your brain from low iq / boring / damaging / nude ads that actually youtube showing to you . i don't mind watching ads but the sector of advertising is doing so bad lately . no more creativity , same pattern , no new ideas . its getting worse and worse , overall , Thank you GoodTube and the team behind it .

Best Adblock for Youtube. When click play videos it doesn't freeze a few seconds like others adblock out there. Also many "Hide" options in the setting which is great.

Amazing that it's finally an official extension! Works great and I have had very minor issues using it! I really only wish that I could disable the Picture-In-Picture feature, so that I can use other extensions that re-enable the YouTube Miniplayer.

Let's be honest here: people are using this extension to avoid paying for ad-free, but now they have to pay or you're gonna show ads. It's tone deaf at the very least, but "lifetime" means the unknowable lifetime of the extension, which could shut down at any moment, or you could just add new fees later on. I'm out.

Don't listen to all the idiots telling you you lied or whatever. You're doing god's work and you deserve to get paid for what the hard work required to provide such an amazing service. I really have no idea what these people are so butt hurt about it's 2 bucks for a lifetime like bruh, these people really don't understand how hard it is to develop anything at all. A much greedier company would've probably charged us 15 to 30 bucks a month for the same product.
