I tried a bunch of other batch chat deletes before I found this one. This one works and works great! I had over 1,500 chats that I needed to go through. Fantastic!

Works well as of March 3rd, 2025. You need to install it, then reload the site and "Manage History" will appear on the side menu to the left

Probably the most useful chat gpt addon out there, maybe a firefox version of the app will be very nice too!

Pretty good overall. However, I have issues with searching older conversations. It would only show me results up to about a couple of weeks ago. I then have to "Rebuild index" (which takes forever), and only then it's able to find these older conversations. It's pretty annoying though and I had to do that quite a number of times. It seems that, by default, it doesn't really far back in history unless you force a Rebuild index.

Works great! Install it, wait a couple of minutes to it to index your chats, then ask away. I LOVE that it includes the title of the chat and then lists the mentions of the phrase within the chat. It helps a ton to find the correct message thread.

I have separate personal and professional workspaces and currently this will only show chats from the personal workspace even if I'm on the professional workspace. If this is a technical limitation that can't be surmounted, that's fine - but I wish it would tell me that this is happening!

It does the same thing as Ctrl+F. I want to search across my entire history. Every conversation.

Just doesn't seem to work at all. Opening it doesn't show any effect and no search bar or anything. Clicking the extension or going to its "settings" just show advertisements for other apps.

Awesome extension. I've gone through at least 10 multiple URL openers and yours is the ONLY one that allows me to actually edit the URLs in a list, not just edit the list name. Kudos!!!

I found that you are capturing user data and their email, when are you changing that ?

Don't really understand how this intended to work. It says the shortcut key is ctrl-j, but that's the shortcut for opening the downloads folder on chrome and, as you would expect, pressing it opens the downloads folder. It doesn't activate this addon. Unless I'm missing something, the addon needs to allow the user to define the shortcut key.

I've been searching for a Chrome extension that would give me chat history and search for Meta AI's main website, but it doesn't look like anybody has made one. Thanks in advance. I need it because I am currently in the process of writing some books and I've lost track of one of my old conversations.

This works fantastic. The fact that GPT does not have search is mind boggling. This does not work on Brave browser which is simply a chrome clone, even when i turn off all shields. The search simply does not show up. It would be nice if it could work on Brave. I'm going to give it 5 stars anyway in advance knowing that the dev will make this happen soon :).

This extension is very useful. It effectively complements the features missing in ChatGPT. Sometimes, I want to delete a conversation after opening and reading it from the search results, but the shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+BS doesn’t work correctly. This might be because the focus isn’t on that conversation in the sidebar list. As a result, it’s not possible to delete or archive a conversation opened from the search results. If there’s a good solution for this, it would be appreciated. Nonetheless, this extension is helpful. ---- After my initial feedback, I found the extension "ChatGPT Batch Delete History Manager". This is exactly what I needed.

Amazing app just what I was looking for! Does exactly what it says and I deleted 100's of chats using the search function. Now I can actually refer back to my old chats without sifting through a ton of random chats.

it works smoothly, would request to optimize for quick indexing it takes a bit too long, additionally if you help us with the ability to delete chats, making our history cleaner and allowing for a smooth management.

Seems the best extension to search chatGPT for reasons other have said, but please could results be sorted in date order, most recent first, or even better allow sort criteria? Currently results come back in random order. Often I want to find something recent which means having to look through all results listed. Secondly can you allow spaces in the search, i.e. searching for exact phrases? If I search for vscode it finds that. If I search for: vs code (with a space in the middle) it finds "vs" or "code". But if I try "vs code" (with the quotes) it gives a list of results that don't match that - I think this probably needs a small tweak to your regex or whatever you're using to do the string search. Thanks.

well it does the job, you can download the chat in form of text (.txt ) not the best method, but pretty much good, and it is organized chat with ( **You** ) and ( **ChatGPT** ) at the beginning of every paragraph. Well done !!

After testing this, the only reason I can't give this 5 stars is because I'm uncomfortable with any extension having access to the detailed and confidential information people share with ChatGPT. However, the extension itself seems to work great! I think maybe the accompanying GPT should be tweaked to favor tailwind 3 over tailwind 2. I believe you can use most of tailwind 3's functionality using the tailwind CDN and configuring it as described here: https://tailwindcss.com/docs/installation/play-cdn *** Previous review follows. Developer replied to my satisfaction so I've updated my rating. The extension requires two permissions that I don't understand the need for: "Read and change your data on api.windchat.link" and "See your email address". The description should describe why these are needed.

This is a great plugin for running multiple tasks in ChatGPT with one click! Very easy to use and very responsive developer!

Doesnt work well if you have the enterprise version i guess or multiple accounts. It will give an error when selecting a result that is in a different account that the one where the conversation is. Needs to be updated for this (but hey thanks for the free plugin!)

This plug-in is excellent as it performs full-text searches on the history thread very quickly! It also highlights the findings in the relevant threads. The developer is very responsive! I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately it does not work anymore

Very cool service, it could use some work though. When I first open ChatGPT, there is a toggle for the extension above the prompt box that is covered up by the "suggested prompts." This problem goes away once a conversation is started. I wish companies wouldn't put buttons there and instead place them in the corner. Also, it seems to have problems rendering when I have multiple HTML/CSS code boxes at once. As I scroll, they are roughly aligned with each section of code but they overlap each other. Also, a part of the first code box remains behind the rest as I scroll. I can see this being useful enough to eventually be integrated by OpenAI in the future!

Great to use, functions as intended. Well, until the extension suddenly wants to know my email. Thank god browsers disable the extension when it requests for new permissions. Speaking of, why does it want to know my email?
