When I closed and reopened a window with a tab group, all the tabs in my group were broken. the tabs were there, but the urls were replaced with about:blank.

chrome lags for like 20 seconds and then it has 70% to crash...

I use this extension to stop chrome from reopening all of my tabs when open chrome, and it's works. The problem I'm have with this extension is every time I open a windows or a popup open (like a google login) it discard all of my open tabs! it's so annoying. this is happen to me in my Linux machine (Arch Linux with Gnome).
How come this is not included in Chrome by default??

хорошее дополнение... но на темной теме совершенно его не видно и это очень неудобно... хотело бы вариант хотя бы сегорого цвета или в идеале чтобы можно было выбирать в настройках! Спасибо... пока что 4 звезды из-за того что значка совершенно невидно во мнногих случаях. good addition... But on the dark theme it is not visible at all and it's very inconvenient... would like an option of at least a gray color or ideally to be able to choose in the settings! Excelente. Abro mas de 100 pestañas de una carpeta de favoritos y sin esta extensión Chrome se come toda la RAM de mi PC y todo es un caos. Solo hago clic en el ícono, se descartan todas las otras pestañas y todo vuelve a la normalidad. Por favor una opción para poder descartar pestañas fijadas. Gracias

This extension is simply invaluable. I have set it up as a shortcut on Alt+W which I use all the time out of muscle memory.

Мгновенно выгружает вкладки. Не загружает фоновые вкладки при старте браузера. Open source 👍🏻 Минусы: - Никак не помечает убитую вкладку, так что невозможно понять какие вкладки выгружены. - Выгружает все вкладки (кроме текущей и закреплённых), а возможность выбрать только одну какую-то конкретную вкладку не реализована.
Это что было нужно хрому и мне, при старте не дает грузить все вкладки, по нажатию выгружает остальные, спасибо чувак ты нас всех спас. Остается вопрос со стабильностью но есть сессионбудди если что он все сессии помнит так что нет проблем. Добавить бы настроек, например белый список, кнопку в меню, но это так придирки.Почему я раньше не знал о нем? чувак сделай пару статей о своем расширении на хабре и других ресурсах, пусть люди узнают многим такое нужно. Спасибо.

It does not work in Chrome Version 70.0.3538.77 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit). Neither on startup with 32 Tabs, nor does the icon show any response or effect when clicking on it. Still every Tab gets loaded on starting chrome and it takes still the same long time to finally be able to use Chrome. This is what I wanted to prevent and thought this extension would be for. Unfortunaly I can´t say anything about it´s functionality since it doesn´t do anything, nor does it allow me to click on "Settings" in the context-menu. The only thing it seems to do is gathering my browser-history (since it is a dependency to add this extension to chrome). Since I read about this extension on popular computer-magazines´ websites I don´t assume this extension is just a scam, but it almost seems like this so far. I mean it probably collects my browser-history, but doesn´t do anything other at all.
I'm not sure whether to classify this as a bug or a feature request but one HUGE limitation of this extension is that tabs that have not yet loaded a title are saved as blank pages. This means that if you open more than say 5 pages at once, you would have to wait for each page to slowly load one by one before they can be unloaded from ram -or even going one page at a time, you still have to wait for each page to load its title before it can then be discarded, which imo is a needless user interaction. It would be vastly preferable if lazytabs could remember the web addresses of tabs 'in loading queue', or possibly if the unloading mechanism could wait until a title is loaded before unloading each tab. This second option would also help with the use of another extension, tabs outliner, which currently displays no name and not even a web address for tabs that haven't loaded a title. I suppose I could just use tabs outliner for all this, except then I would have to reload the main page and hope that the browser remembers where I'd scrolled to, just to unload pages that I would like to read later. Please consider it, thanks!

New version works very well, however sometimes on startup it gets control before tabs have loaded and therefor can't discard them on startup. When this happens, just click its icon to discard tabs.

It works! This makes the Chrome browser useful and usable. Before lazy tabs I barely used Chrome. I used other browsers which built in lazy loading of tabs. I also like that you can click the icon and it will unload all but the current tab. A great memory saver!

This seems to work properly for me, except a warning: it WILL prevent installing other Chrome extensions from the store unless you disable it when you try. It took me forever to figure out that it was this extension causing it.
