idk why someone put 1 star it just work and do what it says...

I didn't need (or test) the regex portion. But it worked very well for my simple replace of 885 bookmark URLs for a site that moved. That being said, this is one of those extensions that you don't need to have enabled all the time. If you use it, I recommend disabling(or removing) it when you are done. This is just a good security practice in general and I have no reason to suspect that this is a bad extension.

Would have been way better if I didn't need to click button on bar, then click, then hunt down and snipe the tiny tic box to select all bookmarks, THEN click Export before FINALLY doing what it's supposed to do! And it always drops to /Downloads/, no option to change where it drops. Annoying. Irritating, even. Why can't I just click once, one-and-done, pre-configured to go where I want the .html file to go? Why is that so hard to program? Where did all the good developers go? But still marginally better than the normal way. I hate that modern tech sucks so bad that you have no choice but to choose bad over worse every single time.

Does exactly what it should. Run a few times on 4k bookmarks - worked like a charm. One suggestion to the author: render links in preview/result clickable for easy checking.

This app was quick and easy to use. It laid out the bookmarks on a page that was easy to navigate. I made my selections, downloaded an HTML, emailed the HTML file to another account that needed it, and got it imported to a different browser perfectly. Thanks!

Great! Perfect! The interface is clean, and the export is fast. I hope that in the future, the feature of capturing thumbnail images of bookmarked webpage addresses can be added (I personally use Linkora to quickly capture thumbnails of imported web pages for easy browsing).

It doesn't work anymore. It was working perfectly and very user friendly previously but now that "effect" button had turned grey and not able to change URLs without learning some "regular expressions" thing.

why does it need to read which website i visit? browser need to start having permission managers like phones do

This worked perfectly for me. My use case was pretty simple - just replacing the domain part of the URL.

Great tool to transfer a collection of bookmarks from one PC to another. Basically it's a Pitty, that Chrome doesn't provide such a feature.

Doesn't appear to be working. the buttons do nothing

Like others, I tried another tool that hung on my 6,000 bookmarks. This tool had no issues handling the bookmarks and worked perfectly!

It really works and is a godsend. I downloaded a competitor and it didn't do a thing. This really helps when I have just one folder I need to export and don't want to have to go and delete and sift through my entire bookmarks. Thanks for making this - it's absolutely necessary!
