What about up and down scrolling the page insted of changing the volume? I thought the whole point was that when you have a youtube video open, up and down will always change the volume and left and right will always skip forward and back

Yep seems to work so far, left and right keys now always control timeline and up and down keys control volume, I have no idea why the overpaid brainlets can't seem to figure out that people dont want to select a UI element with their mouse and the use arrow keys for that specific UI element lol, the key shortcuts are supposed to be universal but yeah like usual, the bigger the company the lower the quality.

I was tired of youtube always changing the volument when I use those arrow keys. It was so bad that it gave me a habit of always clicking somewhere random on a page as soon as I enter it.

Could you also permanently assign pause/play to SPACE BAR? Now Google has broken it too.

Doesn't work. Found that when mute/speaker widget is double-clicked (which just toggles mute on/off quickly) then L/R scroll and U/D volume are restored.

Working as intended. It's insane that Google refuses to fix this simple annoying bug. edit: After a few days of using, I find that it sometimes works, sometimes doesnt.

This works like a charm! I kept getting fed up with YouTube videos randomly swapping my up and down arrows with skip forward/backwards! If you are having this issue too, try this! It's working great so far for me!

Worked for like 10 minutes and now it doesn't work anymore. Haven't changed a thing reinstalling the extension and re opening browser doesn't work. Still a 2 star because the idea was there sadly its broken.
