Used to work really well before the most recent updates which gave more options. I can't get it to work anymore, no matter how many times I reinstall or follow the setup instructions

It works better than Chrome's native shortcuts. Though I think the instructions can be clearer :)

It simply does not the job, when you use the recent tab shortcut 2 times, the second time it does nothing, I would like to be able to switch between 2 tabs with this extension and it's simply not possible. I think when you switch to recent tab the historic is not updated, but it's not just that, because we would expect in that case that using the shortcut a second time, you would go to the second last visited place, bit it simply does nothing. Also, many times, the menu with all tabs get stuck on the screen, instead of vanishing, it's really annoying, sometimes you even have to close the page because even the "close" button doesn't work. But on general, it's never doing what we need, I think it has not been tested properly, people use many more than just one "last tab", we use it successively doing many things, there are many interaction with the history, this should be taken into account, better implemented and tested in real situations.

Works for me. I think any bugs reported by earlier reviewers must be fixed. I used the simple keyboard shortcut Cmd+M, as those are adjacent buttons on my right hand. Toggles between two non-adjacent tabs that were last visited. Just what I was looking for!

As a fellow developer needing to open and switch between tabs is essential, and getting back to my last tab without having to think or find it in the 20-30 tabs I have open without needing to use a mouse is so amazing.

I really like this extension. It has solved the paint point of chrome delay where other extension is suffering. Just one minor thing, it seems recent tabs list doesn't work on google doc. Is it just me?

Cool extention, the first mode works fine everywhere, as being said, and the second mode is so handfull but doesn't work everywhere, as being said again, and because of this i prefer the first mode

works with control tab on install. such a lifesaver. tried a lot of other extensions but this is the only one that works with control tab. love it ❤️

I luv it, solved the cycling around 1000 tabs problem.

Google its UI has become increasingly cluttered and does not offer any proper layout or style changes. (I would add that a well designed layout does not require alteration in the first place..) These extensions from Jason work smooth and have a minimalist look and feel which we love. We very much appreciate the default list view in the drive extension and the simplified layout for Gmail. The option to choose how much you want to contribute is also very welcome, as we have little budget for all sorts of software on top of our monthly overhead, and so we can actually afford to use his software. If Jason worked at Google, these extension would not be needed, But we are so happy he took the initiative. Great work Jason. And please, don't fix what is not broken! We miss the age before daily "updates". Sometimes a product is finished and just works. For any new improvements and changes I would say; Go for it, but always give your users a choice to keep things as they were. Thank you!!!

Works perfect for me. I'm using only switch between previous tab feature with hotkey(ctrl+space in my case). But it's saves for me a bunch of cognitive load! So simple, so easy! Jason, thank you a lot for idea and implementation. I’m saying this as a developer to a developer. P.S. It doesn't switch from "special pages" like chrome settings, chrome extension store - but it's expected behavior for security reason.

can you please make a feature so that one can save files from a website directly to our goole drive using this app? It would be awesome as theres no other extension that allow such function thanks

It only works periodically, as the reviewer above me has pointed out. More frustrating than not having the extension at all, to be honest.

Works intermittently. Haven't figured a pattern to when it functions and does not yet. Looking for alternatives.

"Read and change all your data on all websites" Updated review: bumped this from 1 to 5 stars as Jason got back to me, same day via email, with the following answer. " If you use the default usage #1 method than you will only need the "Read your browsing history" permission. Usage #1: Ideal for developers (recommended) If you use "Usage #2: For basic users" it will require all the permissions to "Read and Change ALL you data on ALL websites" Go with Usage #1 if you'd like to limit the permissions for this extension. Most useful thing I could have dreamt of.

Unfortunately doesn't work at all for me. Is there a way to debug it ? Maybe some other extension is blocking it? I tried multiple key combinations, and also i only tried to LRU option that help you cycle through the last X tabs.

Hello! Description on extension chrome web store page says "...Use Ctrl+Tab or Ctrl+Q...", but how to set Ctrl+Tab as combination? When I'm trying to do this, chrome just switching tabs :)

It was working fine before the recent chrome update for tab groups. Switching between recent tabs in different tab groups isn't working at all. Can we get a fix for this?
