The terms and conditions refer to a user dashboard and cancellation options that are now nonexistent. At some point, it was possible, but they removed it alongside any surface level contact information you may find on their site. Extremely shady. The AI's integration into Canvas seems to have not been updated/supported in a long time either. That was really the only selling point for me.

UGH! I thought this was actually courseology-- CLICK BAIT! I got this and found out really quickly that Chat GPT and Gauth are more accurate so that makes this app pretty bad. Doesn't answer the entirety of the question and sometimes doesn't even answer the question at all, rather it just restates the question. That doesn't help me understand the concepts so this will not work. Super impossible to figure out how to cancel.

Save your money, don't download this! Just use chatgpt for answers its literally free and better. SmartSolve is a scam and just sells a free ai model to you. Not only that, but it leads you to agree to an upgraded subscription with 1 CLICK! Then when you try to cancel it has a fake "your account is still being made" but DOESN'T have an issue with charging you. I hope this app is sued

Scam, they won't let you cancel right away and has a fake "your account is still being created page". You have to wait a day and then they make the canceling process as hard as possible.

this is an absolute scam, so im going to give you a STEP BY STEP ON HOW TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION THAT YOU MOST LIKELY DIDN"T EVEN MEAN TO BUY IN THE FIRST PLACE 1. It wont let you cancel your account the same day you get it, at least not for me, it will say your account isn't made yet so wait a day to cancel. 2. once you've waited a day go to this link https://smartsolve.ai/dashboard/ and log in, then on the left you'll see "Billing" click on that and hit manage subscription 3. then in very small lettering on the bottom it says something about canceling your subscription so click that 4. then youre going to see this stupid dolphin spinning for like 4 minutes, THIS NEXT PART IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when the stupid dolphin goes away it will ask you if youre sure you want to cancel, MAKE SURE YOU HIT "CANCEL" AND NOT "CONTINUE" as hitting continue will "continue" you back to the dashboard and you have to wait for everything to load again, they're trying to think of anyway they make you canceling your subscription as hard as possible 5. after you hit CANCEL and not CONTINUE, your subscription is officially canceled, have a good day :)

Ai worked fine- poor compared to other AI but fairly convenient for McGrawhill and its mindless questions. I'm giving it a 1 star not because of the service but because of the cancelation process. When canceling, the final prompt it will offer is "Continue" or "Cancel." If you're like me, you intuitively choose "continue" as in continuing the cancelation process. WRONG. If not for reading other reviews, I would've paid another $15. The cancellation process took me a half-hour and it would be easy to misunderstand and accidentally retain the subscription.

I should have saw the reviews before I did the free trial but like the other comments they charge you for free trail which I think it has a certain limit to it but it doesn't say cause I didn't get charged right away until like a couple questions in and charged me 14:99 but regardless it said it would charge after the free trail ends which was in 4 days and I was barley using it for less than 10 minutes.Also for those asking about canceling there subscription go to your email where it said welcome to smartsolve! then scroll to the bottom and there should be a link to at the bottom that says visit your dashboard and from there you click billing and then you kind of have to wait like 3 minutes till it loads so dont refresh and then press cancel and apparently it will delete your account with your card information but there no way of knowing cause there no way you can check your account or card info so i'm just hoping that they wont charge me next month or ima have to get a new card.

This service is lucrative, malicious, and the coding for the AI is absolute garbage. It consistently repeats the same answers, (even when they are wrong) and is just not worth the large sum of money to actually use the service. Adding onto the lucrative part, it is EXTREMELY difficult to cancel your subscription. Once you enter the billing page, it takes forever to show the button to cancel (cancel isn't even a button, you have to click a different pop-up), then it takes an extremely long time to load with this dumb dolphin spinning, you are then REQUIRED to provide a description, just to be met with a very misleading "continue" button that makes you think you cancelled it, but you have to actually hit cancel! Just then when you think you are all set and done, they make you go into an email for an ADDITIONAL confirmation of cancellation. There is a clear objective to scam and mislead people here.

Just in case you're trying to cancel the subscription, you gotta hit the button that says "Cancel" after you give your reasoning for canceling the subscription. they trick you into to thinking you're canceling by having "continue" bright and blue making you assume it will "continue" the cancellation process. All it does is bring you back to the billing page WITHOUT cancelling your sub. TLDR, they swapped the button functions. Hitting continue actually CANCELS the cancellation process and hitting cancel actually CONTINUES the cancellation prosses

This ai model has got to be one of the most poorly trained models I've come across. It will consistently give the wrong answers and then when you try to correct it will spit back the same wrong answer over and over again without listening to user input in the slightest. Also the automatic solve button has not popped up on any websites for me. Another thing to be weary of is that the process for cancelling payments, if you've made the mistake of paying, is an absolute pain to cancel. If you're planning on using the extension for anything other than very basic courses/a few problems solved with the free trial, I would look elsewhere.

I tried it using the free trial, little did I know there was a hidden message saying there's only a 10 question limit, ridiculous if you ask me. After realizing this, I went to go ahead and cancel the useless free trial only to be brought to a billing and subscription page that loaded for what felt like an hour, only to be told my account was still "in the process of being made". This infuriated me because I immediately knew this entire website is a scam. Then, I tried to find some sort of support to get help to cancel my account, only to find a single messaging chat that takes a day to even get a response??? Literally the worse experience ever, no customer service, and I tried cancelling multiple times and it won't let me, it'll literally take me to the start page every time I click cancel.
