Works fine to disable extensions but they all disappear from the toolbar and don't come back when you reenable.

Used to work well but about a month or so ago it stopped reenabling the extensions. By design this was a lovely tool for when a website did not work and it was not an ad blocker causing the issue I could just disable extensions to fix the problem and not worry about which one broke whatever site it was. Now it needs an update

Noticing it "deletes" my enabled extensions after a few minutes of disabling all extensions. Fix please. Plus. Why change the color to red?Uninstalled!

Don't waste your time. Turns them off. That's it. It will not turn them back on.

Frequently will not re-enable the extensions after disabling them (in Edge).

Simple but amazing app! There have been multiple times when my machine was running poorly and since I keep way too many extensions in my browser, an extension is almost always the culprit. The amount of time it takes to turn them all off one by one is extremely frustrating. Short of thinning out the amount of extensions I have saved (OCD), this definitely simplifies things by shortening the amount of time it takes to troubleshoot my machine. So far it works as advertised.

It works for me without issues, but clearly has been breaking others computers. Feature request which will probably be ignored: update the extension to include disabling/enabling a subset of extensions.

Talk about if it ain't broke don't fix it. I have only seen an update just as bad from Sonos when they bricked half their speakers in one night.

The recent update broke the extension completely - it only disables extensions but doesn't re-enable them. I had several extensions turned on, and I do not have a record of which ones were on to provide the web experience I curated a long time back. I will be deleting the extension for one of the alternatives until a fix arrives.

It's broken now - re-enabling doesn't reactivate extensions.

after recent update few days back, this extension is dead, it disables all and does not re enable all.... deleting this extension now till fixes come, very bad ...

Dunno what they changed other than the colour chanching, but it bugs out and just changes to green when I try to re-enable my extensions. Stopped working since 30/03/2025.

Why change the color to red? Works well most of the time.

This extension has been a game changer for me. In fact, I'm considering looking for it on GitHub (if it's there; if not, I'll package it) to add a couple of features that would make it even more perfect. Feature 1: Site-Specific Filters I’m becoming increasingly conscious of the many extensions I have installed and the potential for malicious or intrusive code. A filter that disables the extension on specific sites, like banking websites, would address these concerns. This feature could also improve performance, which, while not an issue on my desktop, could benefit my laptop. Feature 2: Extension-Specific Activation Using the same filter concept, I’d like the ability to select which extensions run only on the sites that need them. This would prevent extensions from interfering with each other and improve performance and security. I understand that the API presents some challenges in implementing these features, as it only allows an inconvenient subset of extensions to be turned on or off automatically. However, I believe that with determination, it can be done. I also considered adding scheduling capabilities, though I can't recall the specific use case for this feature at the moment.

This used to work great, but now often I'll disable extensions and try to turn them back on, but they won't, requiring manual re-enabling on the Manage Extensions tab.

Recently extension seems to have become malicious. Page redirects when searching. Uninstalling or disabling extension resolved the issue. Coincidence?

Something changed recently. It disables Javascript setting and has it set to "allow" and it's greyed out and can't be changed. Message in Chrome said Java enabled by extension. As a result, I had to disable this extension. Too bad, it was great while it lasted.

Used this for years, & it even worked well on Opera GX. As of a few says ago I started getting 404 Google redirects when searching, & disabling this extension made it stop.

Excellent tech tool. Great little extension, solved and revealed my slow machine problem as soon as I clicked it. You need a brighter and color the icon for the extension.

Used to work like a charm - but lately it seems to have trouble turning extensions back on; I need to do that manually every time.

Great - could do with a timer - I keep forgetting to turn them back on afterwards.

Most useful extentions in the world..!

One of the best extensions, helps a lot when need to run chrome in the background or adblocks just break some iframes.

Don't want to give it one star but it does have a deal killer which has led me to try another. If enough time goes by, it forgets which extensions it temporarily disabled and will not re-enable any. You have to go back and manually re-enable. In a way that's a good thing. It lets you revaluate which extensions you really need. Every extension increases the attack surface, but it's something I should be in control of.

It's good, does exactly as it promises. I do agree with the other suggestions though, and would like to add another one: that the extension had a way of setting exceptions, so that it'd disable everything but the ones we picked.

Wie kann man nur so blöd sein, nicht nur die lokalen Erweiterung aus- oder einzuschalten. Nein, da muss man gleich die Erweiterungen von allen synchronisierten Chrome Browsern ausschalten. Wieder einschalten kann man sie dort aber nicht mehr, das geht nur auf dem Rechner, auf dem sie ursprünglich mal ausgeschaltet wurden. Ganz toll wenn man das zuhause auf dem Tower vergessen hat und dann unterwegs feststellt, dass das Notebook einen Browser ohne Erweiterung hat und man die dort nicht wieder einschalten kann. --- How can you be so stupid to not only turn off or on the local extension. No, you have to switch off the extensions of all synchronized Chrome browsers. But you can't turn them on again, you can only do that on the computer where they were originally turned off. It's great when you forget to do that on the tower at home and then realize on the road that the notebook has a browser without an extension and you can't turn them back on there.

Would give it 5* if the icon changed color while it was enabled/disabled as well as the minimizing pinned ones.

I tried to use this extension to diagnose which ones were causing issues and it made everything 100x worse. I now have roughly 10 duplicates of each extension on my toolbar now.

For the most part I like it, if I have a conflict on a webpage causing me to not be able to use it, it does shut all extensions off, then quickly turns them all back on when I click it again. My major issue though, is it for some reason, seems to be closing some of my Chrome windows with no records of the close in the recently closed Chrome history. It seems like it may be only windows with a certain number of tabs in them or more, I'm not sure. I always have a main working window that has around 177 tabs, it always is erased and I think a few others in the 20-30 tab range get wiped, but smaller few to a dozen or so tabs windows are left alone. Since I didn't originally know this might happen, it's cause some lost work & wasted time trying to reconstruct. Now I guess I'll always make a copy of my layout before using, plus will better see exactly what all is getting chopped. Other than that it appears to work great. I see another review mention a connection of losing tabs if they are connected to the extension that's shut off, like The Great Suspender, which I am using the current version of, although have some URL's whitelisted. So that may be a factor in my lost windows and tabs.

If you disable your extensions with this tool and you reenable them the orderof the icons are random. Not funny.....
