J'ai 2 adresses Gmail, Dropbox m'a créé 2 comptes, Tantôt il enregistre Mes mots de passe sur un compte Et tantôt sur l'autre compte, J'ai demandé la possibilité de fusionner ces 2 comptes Dropbox car je ne m'en sors pas : aucune réponse de Google: C'est le souk !

et comment on fait pour changer un mot de passe. ca vaut vraiment rien ce passwordmanager

Unimpressive to say the least. Will be looking else where for something better! Works sporadically, when it does it combines accounts that use the same bank...a problem if you use something like Citibank or Synchrony where they work with multiple accounts.

after many attempts I was able to make work multifactor authentication and use the app on laptop and mobile. I reset account and reinstalled app on mobile. Now works fine and it's good app.

Was working fantastically. I got new device and tried to add chrome extension. Both 2FA options don't work (verification via other device AND recovery words). No other option. Makes it basically useless. No support to fix.

Been using it since launch, works very well. Would like to see a "vault" for non-passwords like mnemonics or passphrases

Dropbox password recovery app is horrible! I've been using it for many years and suddenly my mac OS reinstall and unable to recover it.. Spoke with support. No luck... Even when the Dropbox running on the mac it slowing the pc. Unexpected!!

The 2FA (actually 3FA or 4FA) on this extension is unbearable. After installing the app on a new device, it asks for your login info (as expected), then 2FA using an authenticator app (as expected and secure), but then it send a request to a device that I may have near me, may not use anymore, etc. If you try to use recovery words, it wants ALL of them, not just one for each login. I cancelled my paid dropbox subscription because of this extension alone.

I love everything about the app except that it locks up several very important websites when the plugin is enabled (my bank among them). Not cool. Hopefully they will fix soon and earn my 5 stars.

Easy to use and free. I have it on my phone and laptop and I no longer need to remember my passwords. Now I can have different passwords to everything.

On ubuntu chromium passwords are not synced with other devices.

We just transitioned from another password program and Dropbox is working great for us. The transition was easy and flawless. We use it on our PC's and it's quick and easy to set up.

If you're on the fence, jump in! I use it (and love it) every day.

Excelente extensão. A única coisa ruim, pra mim, é que não diferencia subdomínios de domínios nem o endereço completo na url no preenchimento de formulários. Pra quem tem dezenas de senhas salvas fica chato.

Có tính năng import/export passwords từ file csv, auto save pass, ... cũng được. Tuy nhiên Dropbox không như Google, nếu vì lí do nào đó mà lỡ xóa tiện ích (hỏng máy, cài lại win, ...) mà không biết lưu 12 key khôi phục của nó thì sau khi cài lại tiện ích sẽ không thể truy cập lại dữ liệu trong nó (mặc dù dữ liệu về các passwords của bạn vẫn ở đó), tài khoản Dropbox cũng chỉ là bồ nhìn chứ không giúp được gì cả vì hầu như nó tách biệt hoàn toàn với dịch vụ này. Điều này lại khiến mình nhớ lại app Authentication của Google một thời đã khiến người dùng vài pha bật ngửa khi xóa app đi là mất sạch data vì không biết sao lưu

I haven't had any issues. I have been using it for a couple of months before deciding to buy additional storage. I use other password savers, only because Microsoft has cured me of trusting technology!

I started using Dropbox Passwords recently, and even though I saw some bad reviews, I find it great for managing my passwords, What I really appreciate about Dropbox Passwords is that it just works. I don't have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to use it or troubleshoot issues.

Suddenly no longer works when our team was relying on it. Absolutely would avoid.

I am really surprised this extension has 3 stars. I could hardly give it one. Their 2FA is so broken you can hardly use it. They need to lose the whole recovery words thing. Dropbox password is completely separate from Dropbox. You can tell it was developed by a different team and it is nowhere near being ready for prime time. It's really buggy and cumbersome to use. For years, I have used LastPass, NordPass, Onepass, and others. I thought Nordpass was the worst password manager but Dropbox pass just stepped in as the worst password manager I have yet used.

I wish I had read these review bore putting my faith into this extension. I have been a user of Dropbox for years and had nothing but praise for it. This PW manager is so buggy and sluggish I was beginning to think it was me. Yesterday 23rd January I got an email telling me that TripAdvisor had a data leak so should change my PW, and as usual I was using the same PW for about a dozen things. So I thought had found the golden goose when I spotted this on Dropbox, a completely different PW for everything and one that is synced in my DB account to mirror all my devises, hell yea, why would you not. So 36hrs later after pulling my hair out due to the sync function not working and finding out that instead of updating existing logins it creates duplicates, then manually having to type long secure PWs’ on your mobile to get you back online again and connected with your socials. Not to mention Google and Microsoft Two Step verification nightmare, I’ve just lost over 24hrs of my life that I will never get back and completely screwed up all my passwords and logins, Gunna be along night!. In principle a great idea, but does not work……

Since Jan 2023 Windows/ Chrome updates Dropbox p/w no longer works. However I have created a fix. Take off the Extension from Chrome. Close Chrome & restart machine. Open Chrome. Go to Windows shop & download Dropbox Extension for Chrome. If u fail to get the security synchronisation (that happened to me), as a workaround u select the option not displayed to enter your 12 Dropbox Recovery words (see more options). Enter your 12 Dropbox Password recovery security words. This will re-verify the Dropbox Password in Chrome. Why do we pay Dropbox/ Lastpass etc for these services when so frequently they fail us & their customer support is so invalidating & stupid & unhelpful... Maybe Dropbox want to reach out to thank me & ask me to help them with support issues in the future?

Does not work anymore on chrome. I have tried in incognito mode and clear cache and cookies. Hope it get fixed soon.

Nice when it works but both the browser extension and the Android app have a nasty habit of, about 1/3 of the time, freezing for several minutes when you try to open them.

Ich werde jetzt nicht darauf eingehen wie sicher dieser PW-Manager ist, ich forsche da nicht nach. Ich vertraue Dropbox was das angeht einfach. Wer das eben nicht tut, sollte eigentlich direkt wieder gehen. Für mich funktioniert der Manager super. Die meisten Felder werden erkannt, sodass man nicht alles manuell eingeben muss. Er speichert den kram schnell ab und schafft damit eine Übersicht. Auf dem Handy funktioniert er leider nicht wirklich, aber das bewerte ich hier nicht, hier bewerte ich die PC Version. Da ich nichts negatives habe, kann ich 5 Sterne geben.

Looks very nice, but simply doesn't work. Starting with connecting the account and veryfing the login on my iphone: doesn't work. Then finally in I am browsing on site and never does dropbox ask to save a password nor does it automaitically. When I manually save some passwords it also doens't autofill. Unbeleivable how simply NON of the functions functions.

Tried to install to use on desktop (incl Mac using both Safari and Chrome) however, the loading of the extension always hang after a while, is there a limit on the number of entries on the wallet ? or what could be other reasons ? The App work fine on iPhone or Android although it does show a sign of lag or hang once in a while...that's the reason i ask if there is limit to the number of entries...

Simply doesn't work for me. I tried to set it up on my Pixel 4a, and it failed to work, and if I remember right, hung up or crashed. Now, when I open the app on that device, it says it's waiting for another device to give it permission to connect, but it Is the only device I've tried to set it up on. When I tried to set up the chrome extension on my laptop, it said to check my Pixel 4a to give it permission. So I'm stuck unless I want to wipe the account or use one of my backup codes. I can't recommend it if it is this buggy to set up. It's not going to be reliable enough to depend on.

It doesn't always work on all websites. For example Facebook. The other drawback it has set a limit of the number of passwords you can save, it is not unlimited. What's the harm if one uses Kaspersky Password Manager.
