I like everything except that it doesn't record the video. But the audio and the transcription has been great

Amazingly good, elegantly designed.

Good overall, however it would be nice if it detected the presence of the bot intuitively. Eg. When I join a meeting and one of my teammates has their "Staff Fireflies Notetaker" bot physically present in the call, the extension should ideally detect that and not try to record that meeting. It's not the end of the world to manually pause it; but I've forgotten in the past & either way it becomes kind of redundant to constantly "stop", "stop", "stop", just so it runs when I do want it to work. (the flip side is; I would definitely forget to enable it manually when the notetaker bot does NOT show up)

Love Fireflies as a whole, but the Chrome extension makes life so much easier for Google Meet meetings (which is my primary tool for conferences anyway). Thanks for making this! Highly recommend!

Mi hija menor tiene problemas de audición y necesita utilizar una herramienta para transcribir las conversaciones en reuniones de Meet. Firefly es perfecto para ella: identifica claramente a los participantes, permite marcar partes destacadas del diálogo y exportarlo como texto. Envía copia por email a los participantes.

Great tool all around, highly recommend. Love it that I can ask their AI after the meeting what we agreed on i.e. price. Minor improvement points: Every call leads to 2 recordings, one by extension, and one by an AI that joins the call. Should be deduplicated on the backend.

Excellent product and its been an absolute timesaver for me in the months I have been using it making me more productive. Its works superbly with Google but I wish I could turn off the Fred option when customers send me Google calls as there have been some embarrassing moments when the client has asked, "Who's Fred?" I also still haven't got it working in Teams correctly yet but I put it down to user error. Finally, I'm a little sceptical on how it uses the AI credits and Meeting minutes. They seem to decrease a lot quicker than expected and I am monitoring this closely. Overall, great value and a very good product with a good UI/UX too. Keep the improvements coming along with customer support.

The Extension saves my life when the app malfunctions and doesn't join the meeting. One of the things I wish it had the feature for was to name the screen recording to what I want instead of a random generated code title. Also, somehow it duplicate records my meetings. So it would be helpful if it didn't do that. But I would rather have 2 recordings than 0 recordings of an important meeting.

Amazing product! With this extention I don't have to worry about missing calendar invite so I miss the transcripts

My only complaint is that the extension sometimes does not activate automatically in an active Google Meet, but on those rare instances when it doesn't, I can just go into Extensions really quick and click on it, and that seems to wake it up immediately and we're off to the races. Small bug, but on the whole, this thing works great and has been a lifesaver.

It’s 2025 — adding basic UI language support (at least for the top languages) shouldn’t be that hard. For example, Russian is spoken by over 300 million people worldwide. And you already support the language for transcription — so why not the UI? Please consider adding multilingual support. It would really lower the barrier for non-English speakers and help your product grow even faster. You’re sitting on something great. Make it global. ⸻

Já perdi 3 reuniões. Ele começa a gravar, depois fica com o status de enviando mas do nada ela some. Ou seja, sai do computador mas não entra no APP/Site.

agree with the customer service comment - there is none. i have been number 1 in queue for over 1 hour??? how is that possible? If this is the future with AI - please just let me use Humans!!! Please anyone that as the ability or magic beans to contact customer service post it!! you may just help save this company.

Me ha sido super útil. Sí transcribe en español, solo hay que ponerle los settings adecuados. Puedo integrar las notas a notion o exportarlas automáticamente a un almacenamiento. Lo único que de pronto en mi caso ha fallado es que a veces no entra a las juntas programadas, y que la extensión de Chrome pone un botón que sustituye al de la vista de la reunión y ya no puedo modificar la vista sin que deje de transcribir.

No sirve para transcribir reuniones en español, todo lo que transcribe son incoherencias, palabras en español e inglés y con cero sentido.

Excellent product! Far more accurate than Otter and has additional capabilities. I switched to Fireflies without a second thought, and no regrets. I use it every day.

I'm using this extension, and overall, it's a solid tool for capturing content during meetings or calls. One of its standout features is its ability to capture all content except video, which can be both a pro and a con depending on your needs. The extension excels at capturing audio, transcripts, and other valuable data from meetings. However, one limitation worth noting is that Fireflies.ai doesn't record video due to bandwidth considerations (I guess). While this helps prevent potential interference during the call itself, it does mean that you won't have a visual recording of the meeting. For some users, this may not be a major issue, especially if the focus is primarily on capturing the audio and text content. Taking out 1 start because the video part would be nice to have as well

I installed the Chrome extension for Fireflies to unlock the transcription, but it doesn't unlock it. You still need to be a paying customer to get the transcriptions so it's misleading.

While this does work for the supported apps, i was hoping that the extension would ask for camera/mic access and record audio from any browser tab that is activated that way it would work with ANY meeting that is using the browser.

The primary AI summary and notes are all incorrect, approx. 50% errors. Once we manually rectify the transcripts which is a big task (not kept easy), we are unable to generate new AI summary without providing additional credit. This is no way comforting or useful in day to day working. What to do with the inaccurate summaries? Waste.

Why does this only work when given access to data "on all sites"? If I only allow it on Google Meet, it won't allow me to log in and then it misses transcripts for calls. If I allow it on all sites, it messes up the formatting of random web sites and makes them unreadable. Please fix this! The transcription is useful and I'm a paying customer.

Terrible support I ended up losing hours of transcriptions, and quite a bit of my money. The limit seems to be monthly, but it's actually total, so you will go on paying for your fee every month but you won't be able to access your recordings.

Very intuitive and easy-to-use tool that makes reading articles a breeze! I used to be dismayed when encountering articles that were going to chew alot of my time to read but with the transcription summary tool provided by Fireflies, it's very easy to grab the main points of such an article and digest a high-level summary of it. Highly recommend!

Very reliable... i had to do a few tweaks to the transcription though, but I'm sure its coz of cultural differences in pronunciation...

Do not buy this service. I've bought business plan specifficaly for a very important, hour long meeting, bot joined the meeting and was present all the time, but after the meeting in the admin panel it shows that it couldn't be processed. After that I've also tried the chrome plugin, it showed that it started recording, but after the meeting there was no message regarding that meeting whatsoever. I've lost 30$ and trying to get a refund right now.
