So far, helps really good to not open the same youtube videos if i forgot it was already opened, and good for documentation, to not have the same page opened many times, i can get lost in my 500+ tabs

With enough open tabs even with a powerful computer, it'll make the computer keep lagging. Without many open tabs, you don't really need this extension

as others state, unusable. hard locks up the browser when installed. have to forcefully delete the extension to regain control of the browser. use taba watchdog instead, zero performance issues with that.

Unusable. I have around 240 tabs open across multiple windows, and this extension freezes my browser for 20+ seconds whenever I try to do basically anything. Restarting Chrome results in random tabs being closed by this extension because it thinks they're duplicates for some reason, when they aren't.

Right click convert option even works on Quora pages. Make sure it is turned on via the extension bar.

It does work as described! Just reload the browser, select the text, and it automatically shows the number of words and characters on the corner of the screen. Really great!

Amazing, just what I needed. No wasting time on right-clicking and then clicking again on an obscure option in the menu just to see the word count. Well done!

*****USER BEWARE***** Unusable unless you don't need to use it. Your RAM usage will increase until full, drop down, then repeat, over & over with this extension enabled. In a system with over 200 Chrome Tabs Chrome was completely unusable, had to go into the Chrome `C:\Users\<YOURUSERNAME>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions folder & delete the recently created folder to get into Chrome. On another system with only 30 Tabs I was able to scroll task manager but there'd be multiple minute pauses between when you scroll & when you see it scroll on the screen. It completely filled the 8GB of RAM on this system, then would drop back to only 1.5GB used, then fill up, over & over with no other programs running & only 30 tabs open.

As others have said, the extension isn't working as well as it used to. While I don't have the issue with it slowing down that others report, it appears to have stopped working with Google Docs. Since I work at an organization that relies on Google Docs this is less than optimal as I end up having the same document/spreadsheet/presentation open in multiple tabs and keep opening versions and new tabs.

Unfortunately, this extension no longer works as well as it used to. It used to be the best in its category, but now it has several issues. For example, the extension often fails to open, and I have to delete and reinstall it repeatedly just to get it to work. I've had to do this multiple times over the past few months.

can't count words in languages other than English!

Slows the new tabs to between 15 and 30 secs to open, unfortunately that makes it unusable for me. I like it other wise, but simply cant use due to the tab opening issue.

Earlier, it used to work flawlessly. Lately, it is pathetic - system freezes but still it is not preventing the duplicate tabs.

Works great but the plugin makes the browser extremely slow, opening new tabs take 3 seconds.

With lots of Tabs (150+) the browser come to a crawl when using this extension. Don't recommend until a fix for lots of tabs is introduced.

I love it when it works. But it doesn't do anything now so I have to uninstall it. Chrome has been lagging for me too. I wonder if it's this.

having the same issue as other users commented recently, chrome is freezing and stuck frequently.

Its amazing when its at work but I also experienced it freezing Chrome & drastically slowing it down. Have to keep turning the ext on & off when needed.

Always loved the extension. Generally had to just switch it on long enough to find dupes and remove them, then switch off, as I usually have a lot of tabs and running all the time lagged Chrome too much. But now I can't use it at all, because it always freezes Chrome whenever it is on & it's difficult and time consuming simply trying to switch it off. Even restarting Chrome, if it is already on, immediately super lags and seizes Chrome, never allowing me to see and remove dupes & making serious issue even turning it off. Maybe if you don't use as high an amount of open tabs as I do it will still work ok.

It was working fine, but recently I noticed high CPU usage by Chrome, after disabling this extension the CPU usage returned to normal.

I've been using this for a while, and it's been great (although I've always had it in passive mode), however, over the last couple of weeks I've noticed Chrome being seriously laggy and, by a process of elimination, discovered Clutter Free was causing it so, unfortunately, for now, I can't recommend it.

Stopped working after it moved to manifest v3. Hopefully its fixed.

Is one of the most helpful extensions in managing tabs, however the latest update causes the browser to freeze every few minutes.

UPDATE: I just read Harald Simon's review, posted on Jan 19, 2021, and saw that he is right. If you try to convert "90 feet" the conversion will be off by 17 inches. That's not very accurate. I did give this a three star review, but now I am dropping it to one star and uninstalling it. You can take your "10 day trial" and... keep it for people who make poor decisions. The unit converter might be good, might be bad. I like that I can just type something like "180 lb" or "72F" and immediately get a response showing the conversion. And I like that there is an option to remember my last input. But, the unit converter might also be limited. I haven't tested it enough yet. In other converters, you can convert things into dozens of other units but in this extension it seems there is only one unit you can convert to and it is chosen for you and I doubt that you can change it and even if you could it is too inconvenient. I really don't like how this extension is paywalled. Just allow us to use the currency converter for free and if people want to donate, they will. But not only that, the ONLY way to donate is through subscribing monthly, and I don't do subscriptions. If it were a one time and SMALL donation to unlock the currency converter, then I would maybe consider it. As for the time converter, that isn't at all useful to me. I can't like type "time Paris" to know what time it is there. It just shows my time. I can type "10 PM GST" and it will tell me how many hours ago that was, but that doesn't help me at all. I'd rather have the time converter paywalled and get the currency converter for free. Anyway, I really don't like paywalled stuff so I can't give this extension a rating higher than three stars. Remove the paywall, and I'll bump this up to four or five stars. If the currency converter is not paywalled, the developer can still have donation and subscription links and still receive an income for their work. But the way it is being done now is just going to result in unhappy people and poor reviews. Maybe some people want to spend $22-108 a year (depending on subscription plan) to convert currency when other extensions do it for free. Not me.

It's going to be a real blow to my productivity if this extension goes away. Please update soon!

Does what it says, but given that it just gave me a popup to checkout another extension they have developed that I have no interest in, on top of chrome indicating this extension is not following best practices, I no longer trust this extension and cannot recommend it.

Great and fast works with inches to centimeters, f to c , highly recommended, should be a feature of chrome like opera has it.

It's kind of nice and good but extremly slow/laggy I have 300 tabs and decent PC ryzen 5 3600 overall CPU usage is less than 20% when it lags and chrome usage is 16%

Can't use it in Vivaldi browser. The extension can't login to my Google Drive.

I have been enjoying this extension, until just now when it popped up a system notification of another extension by the same author. This is unacceptable. Websites need permission to send notifications, but browser extensions don't. If this developer is willing to do that to advertise to me, what else are they going to put into this extension in the future?

I love todo.txt and have been trying to use the original command line tool under linux and then the Chrome Extension and the Android App for my phone and tables. I try to keep all the files in sync using google drive, but for some reason the Chrome Extension and Android App won't stay in sync with updates I make from the linux command line. When I remove the file link under either and then to add it back it no longer sees the file in the google drive directory. I've been a supporter for a while, but can't seem to get it to work together, so I'm giving up on the Chrome Extension and Android app and moving to google tasks for tasks I need to keep synced across all my devices. :-(

Surely there should be an option to block individual addresses not just a total domain blackout. These examples are auto opened as second tabs whenever I open the main site : https://www.amazon.co.uk/?tag=snxgb5-21 https://tesco.pxf.io Domain block doesn't just block duplicates, it blocks all other pages from that domain.

Está muy bonito más cuándo puedes poner modo negro lo único esque no tiene apps así en el tab para entrar directo donde quieras seria bueno y que cuando entres a esa página o app que sea de las ultima actualización porque los demás Tabs tienen eso pero nunca se puede entrar porque están desactualizado.
