Works good, but after last update I always get multiple tabs open (even 4,5 tabs) and it's quite annoying. It would be great to have that bug fixed. Thank you!

Why is it opening many Settings tabs? I end up with like 5 gmail tabs open. only one of them is my inbox.

Was working fine but is now asking for new permissions to read browsing history. What is the reason this permission is needed?

Works really well, when I've got it set up right! For some reason a recent update made it a bit temperamental, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and I can't work out why. Right now I've removed and re-installed for a third time and it seems to be working...

Does exactly what it means to do. No setup or the need of open settings tabs, the only disadvantage you always need a running chrome browser. 👍👍👍

Même avis que Nicolas. Très pratique, à l'exception du fait qu'on soit obligé de changer manuellement le numéro dans l'URL à chaque ouverture de Chrome quand on veut que ça s'applique par exemple au deuxième compte connecté. Une simple option dans le menu de l'extension qui demande quel numéro mettre dans l'URL et qui serait gardé en mémoire serait parfait (par défaut 0 donc). À moins qu'il existe une autre astuce ?

Gran extensión que soluciona el problema del auto refrescado de los emails POP3 en Gmail. Me falta saber cómo editar la extensión para que en vez de autorefrescar el "User 0", refresque el "User 1". Intentaré descubrir cómo hacerlo.

Большое спасибо создателю этой программы! Раньше письма при автоматическом обновлении приходили через 40 минут или 1 час, это было очень неудобно и и сильно влияло на продуктивность в работе. Приходилось вручную обновлять цепочки POP3. Сейчас все идеально! Спасибо! 5 из 5!!!

This has never worked for me. Even opening setting myself to the fetch-button setting page wont make it work. P.S. In my context I have multiple gmail accounts opened in the session, might be why...

Works well for me. Love it. Two things that I learned: - You need to have the settings dialog page open in a tab at all times for it to work. I usually have Gmail open in its own window. Now I have that and also a separate tab with just the settings page for "accounts and import" open in it. If you click on the icon for the extension it opens up this tab for you. - In the Edge browser, be sure to turn off the "sleeping tabs" feature because that will disable the tab that has the settings page open. Perhaps other browsers have something similar.

Why sometime it doesn't check about one hour?

Works as it should. It splits your gmail tab in half and creates a new window with gmail settings. Then I guess it uses a macro to just press the Check Mail for you every minute. I like it because It constantly refreshes it every 30 seconds for me. Annoying that the settings tab has to be open for the extension to do its work but at least its a very basic and working solution. Big efficiency!

Not really a solution (What about GMAIL on mobile apps? / Web browser) - without any warning in the setting ("hello we will not check pop3 bye bye"). But for desktop works fine (Google should be a shame for this MEGA BUG).

It's quite silly that Google won't fix their POP3 refresh algorithm or add a Gmail app/site button to allow more frequent mail checks on POP3 accounts. This extension is a life saver. Par contre si on utilise plusieurs comptes il faut manuellement changer l'URL de la page que l'extension ouvre, donc changer "https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#settings/accounts" par "https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/#settings/accounts", est-il possible de faire une adaptation de l'extension afin qu'elle tienne compte du compte gmail ouvert actuellement dans le browser au moment où on clique sur l'extension ? Merci !!!

Seems to work as intended : when the timer comes to 2 minutes, it checks the mails, then resets the timer to 0 minute.... as it should be by default without any extension... anyway, thanks to the dev! Merci beaucoup.

I've ran several emails through this extension and it works as described. In my view, the extension is "under developed" by the fact that you must launch the extension, by clicking on it top right each time you want it to work with Gmail and, that the browser tab that opens as a result, must stay open during the time you want the extension to work. That part seems like it could be better developed. I noticed that after manually launching the extension once - then closing out Chrome and relaunching Chrome again, the browser tab for the extension automatically launched by itself. At that time I hadn't even logged into my gmail account yet. That practice worries me and feels like it has privacy challenges.

Bonjour, Enfin une ext qui fait le job...peut-être même trop, vérification toutes les 15s chez moi ! J'étais sceptique car c'est la même description que "Gmail POP3 Fetcher" de Duong Minh Thong. A voir à la longue, mais en attendant merci, bon boulot.

It doesn't work!

Works, but one thing should be noted, which is stated in the description but it's not really obvious. In order for the extension to work, the Settings->Accounts page must remain open. That's fine, just have 2 pages open, one for your inbox, one for the settings page. I also find that it checks mail more frequent than the 1 minute stated. This may eventually be flagged as abuse by Google and your account may be blocked from checking for 24-hours. Not sure if this is my fault somehow or the developer.

I did install this plugin and it works very well. I did test for one account and every minute the pop3 account was checked. Clicking in "show history" at the pop3 account, shows the same! Many thanks for your effort!

Just downloaded and it works - worth noting if you have multiple pop accounts it seems to sync one account then a minute later it moves on to sync the next account and a minute later the the next account and so on. After it reaches the last account it syncs the first one again . That means for me I get all my accounts synced once every 5 mins . Not sure if this is an intended or unintended feature ?
