Like many say it is slow and should have a speed control but it is fine for me since I can't read fast anyways but I would like to change the voice and also the highlighting text function failed soon after it began.

Does the job, and looks great. Very straightforward to use. One of the 1-star reviews complained that the top settings bar occupies too much space, but the intention is clearly that you choose your settings for the viewer, and then hit the triangle on the right to minimize the settings bar. It works well if you take a moment to understand the interface.

Thank you very much for this! One tiny thing I'd ask for is if the screenshot could automatically source the background color of the element's page it's taking the screenshot from. Say I'm taking a screenshot of an icon on a page. The icon itself is a transparent PNG and the page is grey. It would be great if the add-on was able to source the bg color as well. Otherwise, this is a perfect thing for those who admire FF's screenshot tool and want the same functionality in Chrome!

I'm not a coder, but I made constant use of Caret for various kinds of text manipulation. I needed to find a similarly powerful text editor that I can use once Chrome app support ends - and this is definitely it. I love it!

Breaks page functions providing more burden than help.

This interferes with changing the text styles in Gmail in th Edge browser. When I'm typing a Gmail reply and highlight some text to change it to italic or bold or anything, the highlight becomes un-highlighted and no style change happens. Had to remove it to solve the problem.

not enough english voice models, there's this one specific TTS voice model an Epub Reader app called ReadEra has that's just called "en-US-language, Google, United States" and I find it sounds the least headache inducing at 1.75x speed of any TTS voice model I've ever heard, even if it doesn't sound particularly sophisticated

It's dumb. I thought this would allow to select a part of the screen, but instead it opens a window and asks to upload a file. This is just retarded. Two stars for making something that at least works, eventhough so unconveniently.

There is no automatic reading, and it doesnt actually read any webpage. Instead, a popup comes up that you have to manually paste all the text into for it to read. It`s a major nuisance, and completely a waste of time (as it takes 2-3x longer just to read anything in this way). Boooooooo. One commentor says 3.4 rating is underrated, I say it`s too high. I wouldn`t recommend this at all.

Every single screenshot has a white background. Even if the background in the actual page is black or any other color. I legit do not understand how other people are enjoying this extension. It's utterly useless.

Works really well. The only downside is that after an element is clicked, a pop up of that element appears as PNG, which you have to right click and save as image manually. It should automatically save the image as soon as the highlighted element is clicked! If this problem could be resolved in the next update then the extension would be impeccable!!! I gave it 4 stars just because of this issue. If this issue gets resolved, the extension is a solid 5 star.

Precisely what I wanted, and it just works. Lets you gets the maximum of your screen real estate by hiding the the tab/toolbar/bookmark/etc ui without rescaling anything either. Works in Brave as of the date of this review.
