Hi, I have loved this extension for years now. Unfortunately on my macbook (but not my windows desktop) my loops often get randomly deleted after I make them, and changes I make to the start and stop times get undone. I have to remake the loop or edit it several times before I get it to stick. Some days it doesn't seem to happen at all, other times it will keep happening the whole session. It really makes the extension unusable on my laptop. Refreshing the page, restarting Chrome, restarting the macbook sometimes seems to help. Anyway if you find a way to fix this it would improve my quality of life and cure my depression. Thank you!

Works really well, unfortunately, the looper button doesn't always show up on videos which makes it impossible to loop them. Hope for a fix one day.

5 stars incredible extension. Just some feedback I noticed when I have a playlist loaded then I click the button for the mini player so I can search and add another video to the playlist and then I reexpand the video the typical controls for video settings and screen size on the bottom right of the player are gone, only the video looper icon is there. I noticed this only on the most recent update

One of the few loopers that actually allow detailed looping. The only issue I have is that the button to access the looper doesn't always appear on the video (e.g. where it's shown on a screenshot). Why? Am I the only one with such issue? Any way to force the button to appear? UPD: Noticed that this is related to the height and width of the video in question. For example, a video may lack this button if height/width of the video is not typical one for YouTube. However, if I add the same video to a playlist and then visit it as a part of the playlist, the button is always there. Can you look into this, please?

WOW - finally a looper that pretty much ticks the boxes on UX, features, shortcuts etc. You can manually re-roll, you can pre-roll, there are keyboard shortcuts, and significantly less steps to creating and controlling not just loops but also the speed, integrated in the UI. No it's not perfect, I have an issue saving loop names just now and there is room to expand the scope, but finally, a developer has tackled the problems that have plagued the many other looping extensions to date - and for that I am very, very grateful. Hopefully in future (maybe for a premium version or associated app - some connectivity with midi foot controllers? Again - many thanks so far.

Hi, This looper is immensely helpful for transcribing music. Maybe you could add a keyboard shortcut for restarting at the beginning of a loop? I always use the mouse for that, have to stop and restart the loop if I make a mistake playing piano or whatever instrument, often the mouse slips and it messes me up a lot. There is also a glitch I run into a lot when I'm fine tuning one of the loop times, it erases the change I made to the previous loop. That would be an awesome fix. Thanks, your plugin is really useful.

This looper helped me loop songs I wanted to listen to.

‷̵𐑱₍̗ᵔᕑ₎̖𐑲  At last, a perfect looper for my needs on Youtube! The Best Features: The icon is on the video control bar, so the ellipsis (…) doesn’t go missing anymore. The ellipsis got crowded/pushed out on many videos by other app logos that appear in the like-dislike line of icons. You click to set the start and stop times, BUT after you create a loop like that, you can click on the start and end times and manually change the time. This works much better and faster for me.

It's a fantastic tool, the fact you can get down to the millisecond is really impressive. For a musician and the like I have zero doubt that this is the best looper extension on the market. For my purpose, just an average viewer, it's a bit overkill and takes just a little bit more work to get set up if all you want is to loop, say, a music video or the like and cut out all the non-music stuff at the end and any they may have at the beginning. For that Looper for Youtube works better, however, that extension has an issue where it causes the ". . ." menu button to the right of the like, dislike, etc buttons to just disappear. Without that button you can't add to playlist, view transcriptions, or even report the video. So that extension, while better and simpler for my use, simply isn't acceptable. This one, however is so well made, it's so unobtrusive, and it doesn't make the ". . ." menu button go away. It works amazingly well and the person or people that coded this really should be proud of the work they've done. It's too much for what I want, but it still lets me do what I want without issue so I can't complain. Musicians and the like will absolutely *love* how much more feature rich this extension is and how it's still pretty easy to use.

Finally a YouTube looper which works in the newer versions. It works like a charm. 10/10 recommended.

Hi Wilker. For a musician this is a must have extension. I have a question. It used to be that all my loops were saved in the loop list perpetually. Now, when I exit Chrome and return to the video the loops are gone. A minor annoyance but I was wondering if you had any insight? Thanks for the great extension!

Amazing extension! I am sad I just discovered this now. I wish I discovered this much earlier! I am wondering how difficult would it to add keyboard shortcut support. Like press "A" to mark the start of a loop, press "B" to mark the end of the loop, press "]" to increase the speed, press "[" to decrease the speed, etc.

Works well in YouTube. Is there any way to make it work in YouTube Music (YTM)? I have a lot of content from Google Play Music I was forced to upload to YTM when GPM was discontinued. Now the only way to loop rehearse a piece in segments to audio capture it and then import into a DAW Project. Having YouTube Looper working in YTM would be a huge help.

Ideal for learning music (I try to learn guitar). Multiple named sections, playback speed control, direct setting of start/stop positions (i.e. 'here' instead of time-based entry) are what makes this the perfect study/rehearsal companion. Other youtube loop plugins do not offer this! I was looking for an alternative to the new Boss Pocket GT app, which offers something similar.

This is pretty good...however, I can think of a few ways to make it even better. First, allow precise time code editing after creating a loop. Second, allow scrolling through the list of loops, for people like me that want hundreds of loops per video. Third, allow a feature to create groups of loops from different videos, and groups of entire videos. Fourth, create a list of all the videos you've loped...which also ties into the grouping of loops and videos. Fifth, try and create a more responsive and larger UI, so mistakes are less likely to occur.

Awesome plugin! Very useful for playlist videos, when you want to listen to a song repeatedly.

The best I've found. Great features and superb sound quality. Perfect for learning guitar parts. A couple of suggestions: 1) add incremental increase/decrease buttons to the speed setting. 2) add keyboard shortcut to increment the speed. 3) add the ability to to increase the speed by x% on each completed loop. This would complete the tool as the perfect guitar trainer.
