A fantastic simple Chrome addon for recoding notes. We have started to use this for our exam concessions in Google Classroom for our students in Grade 6 and Grade 7.

I use this every day in my corresopndences. It's so much faster to get your thoughts across than writing everything down adn finding all of the right words. Plus, it allows you to capture tone and emotion in ways that are so tricky with writing. This is the best extension in the chrome web store, in my opinion.

As an English teacher that uses Google Class for drafts, this extension has been a game changer! I can leave more nuanced, complex, verbal feedback for sections of the draft, that would be harder to communicate in text alone. It has integrated into the Google Class interface smoothly, and is so easy to use.

I really like this; it’s very useful for my job. Mostly, I follow my tasks on the sheet like that. I want to say one thing: when someone sends a voice note like this, I don’t have to repeatedly call and explain things. This is very useful for the sheet. There’s a small issue—not exactly a mistake—when I go to a tab in the sheet and insert the link, if I’ve done it with my email ID, I can preview the audio because I have that option. But now, if I share the sheet link, the people I share it with open it with their own email IDs. They only get preview access for the link, meaning they have to copy and paste the link into another tab and open it separately to listen. It would be better if they could preview the audio directly by clicking on it within the sheet itself. That’s my only suggestion.

Beep streamlines the feedback process and it's super easy to use!

I was looking for something to record my voice so I could respond to my students quickly while responding to emails. More importantly, I wanted to provide the correct voice inflection and tone with my emails to encourage and motivate my students. This extension does it all! It's a huge time saver for me. Thank you for such an excellent product.

Fantastic tool!

I love Beep so much! While it still takes a while, I find it has improved my speed when grading student essays. Students enjoy when I leave them more personal comments as well. Highly recommend!

VERY helpful as a school based SLP. It allows me to provide good articulation and reading models while the kids can still see the text.

Magnificent tool!

This is awesome!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am enjoying using this to add voice notes on my google documents. I am using it to provide brief pronunciation guides throughout a document. Though it has made life much much easier than uploading separate voice notes onto google drive and linking them individually into a document, improvements could be had if (1) I am able to keep the widget open after I insert every small voice comment so that I can continue making annotations without going to the top of the screen to click on the Beep icon again (2) I can quickly delete a voicenote that I want while the widget is still open after I listen to it and decide that I want to re-record. 5 stars if these could be addressed

super-easy, super-timesaving.

Not as good of an integration as talk and comment (love the floating mic in that app) but a nice solution. I do notice I am getting a lot of background whooshing noise from this app which never happened in talk and comment (same laptop and hardware). Overall it is very workable although a few more clicks than the now defunct talk and comment. I hope that google buys up one of these very lucky companies and makes these people very rich with a built in solution and paying people well for their creative work.

I 100% love this. Before I was using my voice memo to send my audio to my computer and then email it. Now I can just record as I send emails it makes me so much more efficient! I love it
