Actually works. Other extensions have all failed me, including Tab Session Manager (duplicates any windows with a single pinned tab and duplicates all pinned tabs within windows at each restore), Session Buddy (could't restore file:// tabs), Cluster Window & Tab Manager, and Tabs Backup & Restore - they've all completely messed up up my workspace, EXCEPT for this extension.

atleast this thing works for saving session, but can dev implement something like where to put the "session data" on the pc? If this thing only backup locally, I really want to back it up to my NAS so it doesnt easely lost if for some reason the browser reset itself and delete all my data (incl. the extension) by some error, and also the import export function is also needed

I have done some testing and this can bypass zip file passwords! there may be some cases where it doesn't but i have been using this for a year and a half and i love this extension.

I'm using this handy extension to automatically delete old history because otherwise the browser becomes sluggish when it has to keep all the history of several years from the past. But I don't need to delete all the history because I want to know what links I have clicked in the past weeks/months, so I prefer to keep that. What I would like to see in the next version of this extension: Ability to customize the number of days instead of being limited to 1 hour to 30 days. In my case I would like to keep the history of the past 3 months.

very good app it works for me, but you cant uninstall it so if you want to download it be aware that you cant uninstall

I would give it 5 stars but subtracting one because whilst it opened a .gz archive for me, it is not documented how to extract a file. Through trial and error I discovered that dragging a file out works whilst the conventional copy/paste does not. Chrome OS v92.4.2 (neverware Cloudready)

It did exactlly what it said. Worked on a chromebook asus 101cp (The OG FlipBook) I needed to root my ZTE Zmax pro to unlock the APN even though my phone is completely unlocked. After a long stressful day, good to know some things just work. I need to unpack a 7z file, and i know my old dell d610 with windows 7 was not going to cut it. So this made it easy. Thank you. Everyone this is good for when you need an archive program on chrome os people that gave this 1 star are just trying to run it on windows 10 witch will not work alsoi needed this for a program and it worked flawlessly

I don't understand all people saying "can't uninstall" "doesn't work" I just opened a 7z file perfectly fine.

Installs perfectly with no errors, but there's nothing else you can do. If you try to open a 7z file, Files asks you which app. When you select this app, all it shows you is reviews with no way to actually open the file.

Incredible app. Works just as it's supposed to and have had no problems using it.

Dont download this. It doesn't work in the slightest and once its downloaded you wont be able to remove it.

Wicked Good Archiver has been very useful to open .7z and .tar.gz files on my Chromebook. It is a shame that ChromeOS limitations prevent support of split archives. Thanks for the small update that adds the UI that instructs how to use and remove the app - this seemed to confuse a lot of people before.

Worked exactly as hoped for opening 7zip files. Uninstalled without issue. Have subsequently reinstalled and retained.

Okay look. I know that there are probably glitches in this app because many people have said so, but I'm going to chalk that up to them having the wrong Chrome OS version or type. I have a chromebook that can't run apks at the time of this post, so this is the only good way i have of getting into this stuff without a webapp. Probably do check to see if you have the right Chrome OS version before installing (apparently it will otherwise not work and will be unable to be uninstalled), my build is "87.0.4280.109 (Official Build) (64-bit)" on platform "13505.73.0 (Official Build) stable-channel kip" with firmware "Google_Kip.5216.227.195". And this app works perfectly on mine. So while this app literally isn't for everyone, it is a very useful app and it works perfectly fine. I hope this was helpful. Edit: You can now delete this app using settings if it spazzed out on your chromebook.

Don't have a clue why there are people giving this bad ratings and saying it is a scam and all the comments are bots. If you aren't aware, this is aimed at chromebook users and to be used in the ChromeOS files app. It has worked perfectly fine for years and you can delete it, contrary to what people say in the reviews. All you do to use it is right click and press open in... You can then extract files perfectly fine. And when you are done, you can right click the app in your app drawer and press uninstall, all these Karens are lying to u.
