Tried to download all 61 episodes of a podcast. Here is what happened. I got 61 individual popups, one after another, which I had to click on one at a time. And, if I wanted to save those podcasts in a particular folder, I had to navigate to that folder, 61 times. When I did not do so, it sent all the downloads to the Windows /username/Downloads folder, which I hardly ever use. Where is the true batch mode? And how do I set a default download folder of my own? Could find neither in the settings. Hope I can get both of those problems fixed, I will give 5 stars if it does, until then I will keep using the Gpodder desktop app.

The search is a bit odd. As soon as you type a single letter in the search box it searches AND removes the focus from the search box so that you have to re-click the search box to continue typing what you are looking for.

Great, but not without problems. 1. SYNC tells you to sign in first, but there's no option to do that. 2. No option to set unique download folders for podcasts. Some of them seem to remember where the original file was downloaded to, but if it was, say, just to the desktop, and now you want podcasts to go into their own folder, it's not possible. As of now I end up with mixed-up files that I have to figure out which is which to sort them. Not fun. Edit: It occurs to me that a very nice option to add would be the ability to add the podcast's name into the filename when downloading. Another extension I use (for capturing web content as images or PDFs) has that option, and it's tremendously useful for organizing downloads without confusion. Just a thought. :)

this extension is one of the best, but when you download podcast the file name is with number and not with the name of podcast file :(

I'm thrilled I found this extension. As someone who doesn't subscribe to iTunes or any of the other services out there, finding something like this is fantastic. I can search out Podcasts and add them to my Library. Downloading them as a MP3 and being able to save them for later listening is a great bonus.

This is a useful podcast aggregator. I can download all items on the queue at once (the format is mp3). It has the basic functionalities of Library, Inbox (new episodes), Queue (kind of alike a playlist chosen by me), Search, etc. It also pulls the podcast description and the episode's notes. It is a simple but nice podcast aggregator. Thank you bluepill!

I have this as a Chrome Extension and I find that this is a very good Podcast Player. My one complaint is that (for me) I can't increase my time listened without buying them, meaning that I cannot Transcribe the episodes.
