A couple of days ago the extension has broken. Pause stopped working. After entering a password and enable the pause, I have to enter the password once more in order to open the blocked page. There used to be no need to enter the password twice. Please fix this ASAP, I'm begging you UPD: I'm using Chrome 144 UPD2: Will update the rating of the review after the fix. I've been using this extension for years. It's so upsetting to experience a malfunction like this

Very useful application, only one issue I've encountered. On the Brave Browser, the pause functionality does not appear to work properly, forcing manual unblock and reblocking, rather than pausing.

Makes it impossible to pass cloudflare veification without pausing or temporarily disabling the extension, rendering it useless for numerous websites.

Does NOT save attachments!

what's the point of blocking a site and still create a tab? When something is blocked I dont want to be bothered to click to close a tab opened by an ad site.

I used this to bypass a "browser not supported" error on Opera. with Chrome agent.

This is a handy browser extension, but if you use a higher browser zoom level in base Chromium (not sure if it repros under Chrome, e.g., 140%+ zoom level) under Settings, Content, Page Zoom, then this extension's UI no longer fits in its dropdown menu and the extension's buttons (e.g., Apply) are totally clipped outside its dropdown menu.

Great little extension - small file size, seems to only do what it says rather than adding all kinds of junk. One tiny negative - if you pause blocking for 1 minute and then access a site the doesn't reload the page, but does everything internally (like Facebook now does), it stays unblocked. Would be better if it checked when the tab was "refocused" and even better if it counted down and/or counted down and re-checked open tabs after after the "pause" times out. At least providing a "continue to unblock this site" (maybe with additional timer) popup or something similar. Those are small additions that would be awesome to have, but the extension seems to do exactly what it's supposed to, no muss - no fuss. Great work!

meh... it sometimes works but it is so broken here and there it becomes really unstable to use.... Good attempt and effort but sometimes you need to make tools more minimalist and functional...

Great but the menu to fix song and artist titles disappeared as Youtube continues to ghoulify their pathetic platform.

Why the hell does this extension keep opening tabs to its update notes? Buzz off...

I use this to limit my social media time. It works ok, and my social media time has decreased since installing it. I like being able to add a custom message or automatic redirect. It's very complicated to use beyond just the basics, however, and the FAQ is filled with example code and tells the user to "create a rule" without explaining how/where on the options page to do that (the "Add a Rule" header link redirects to the FAQ, "block a new hostname" offers only a space for the URL, etc). The "scheduled unblocking" doesn't feel intuitive (scheduled blocking would make more sense), and sometimes it just doesn't work and will leave a website unblocked outside of the scheduled hours. This doesn't happen on days that have no scheduled unblocking, so it seems an issue with the schedule feature. This extension feels like it was originally developed for companies that have IT departments that are familiar with this type of coding, then it was made publicly available as an afterthought. If you're an average person who just needs the basics of a blocking a website and redirecting elsewhere, this is great. If you want a little more customization, this will do it, but it will be a struggle if you're not already familiar with coding.

App is great been using since 10years There is no option to set deault useragent you provide in option settings, where i just want to set only one website as internet explorer 9.0, i tried to set but always getting json error even after editing the sample insert Add Dropdown to choose from the list abailable in options/settign page

#1 extension I use everyday. It blocks sites, and allows me to make it redirect me somewhere else. I will give it 5 stars.

This is actually amazing. I was just looking for a block site extension that allows me to write a long paragraph to myself because I need to remember my ultimate goal(the WHY) in order to maintain discipline. It's also so inclusive and limitless, unlike the overrated blocksite extension that only lets you block 3 websites. I hope with all my heart this creator continues to be generous with the extension! can block a site, but very very difficult to work out how to use the scheduled unblocking feature. Also, Would much prefer if it had a scheduled blocking feature instead.
