"It's very amusing that when Honey steals your cookies, it looks like malware." "Free cheese is only found on a mousetrap" - By people on the internet. If you see a 5 star review that says "It's so great!", I recommend you ignore those reviews. In conclusion, please don't install this scam extension. Some things can be too good to be true.

honey has done some shady practices since acquired by paypal. from tricking affiliate links (stealing commissions - as the buyer I feel bad for all the affiliates abused by Honey) and showing coupons that only vendor wants us to see. the price tracking tools could also be used for demand forecasting so they could gauge price at the best time for the seller. finally uninstalling this extension after using it for more than 7 years

As others have said, Honey is a theif and a scam. It replaces referral links of other hard working people and creators with it's own, stealing the "last click" to steal the referral on any purchase you make using their codes. Not only that, but it will do this if you interract with it in any way, even just closing it off with the 'X' - a desperate attempt to have you interract with it before any purchase so it can replace referral links with it's own, even when they did none of the work to get you there. Moreover, they will offer you 'honey gold' which often if a slap in the face to the consumer, and less than 1% of the commission that they actually take from any referral. All this sounds crazy for such a seemingly innocent app but it's the truth and I will never have this installed on any of my devices again.
