Great extension, but some ads are starting to slip through. Might need an update.

As of April 10 2025, this extension works great!! I bet it works in an extremely similar way to my own Userscript I wrote, but I got tired of updating it. I'll def be throwing a donation your way!!

This extension doesn't work anymore. I appreciated the peace while it lasted.

I did work up until a few weeks ago then i started seeing more and more ads. Now it doesn't work at all. I have updated the app and re installed it but it just doesn't work. Not happy

Endlich keine Vorschläge mehr für Seiten von örtlichen Dorfvereinen, die 600km weg von mir sind, keine komischen Vorschläge mehr von Seiten, denen ich folgen soll. Bisher funktioniert das wunderbar. Jetzt müsste es nur noch eine Möglichkeit geben, die Timeline DAUERHAFT chronologisch zu ordnen, außer über den URL Zusatz ?sk=h_chr zu gehen! Aber keine Werbung mehr, keine merkwürdigen Vorschläge mehr und ich kann endlich auch wieder alle Beiträge meiner Freunde auf meiner Timline sehen

This should come pre-installed with your browser, essential extension if you are forced to use fb to maintain contact with friends and family but don't want to be constantly bombarded by garbage you never asked for.

As of 2025/01/13, the app is super effective. No more posts from "suggested for you" or "follow" (pages pushed to you algorithmically), or sponsored. It's like having Facebook from a decade ago.

It's great, but it might prevent the video controls from showing.

It works perfectly, blocking suggestions for new friends, all kinds of ads, blocking suggested Reels, blocking sponsored ads, and many more.

Only catching a few of them at a time. On the latest version.

Barely works. It worked fine for a few days, now it doesn't block any sponsored Facebook posts anymore. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it just doesn't do anything now. Other users are also reporting it not working for them either.... maybe the ad lists for it need to be updated?

This was working like a charm and suddently stopped working a few days ago. Please update this, y'all have been a lifesaver in preventing me from veiwing absolute cancer.

Works. But, can have times where FB has worked around it. If not working, give it time to get updated. Remember, just one person doing it. Don't be a keyboard commando and give grief if it's not work. Come back to it later. :)

it was going good, but i dont know what happened, but my homepage is bombarded with all sorts of ads now...

Works fantastically most of the time, but it's important to remember this is one individual's effort against a giant software company that DESPERATELY wants to advertise to all of us. They will keep changing things, and with any luck, the dev will keep updating the code and doing that good work.

Haven't seen any "suggested pages" so far. That's a big difference.

Was working great, loved this extension, but FB changed something again and now my feed is full of suggested pages. Like 4-5 suggested pages per every 1 post of something I actually follow :( Hope you're able to update this extension soon to combat this!

I just installed it and so far it appears to perfectly work as promoted. I will definitely change my review score if that ever changes, but only after taking into consideration the time needed for the developer to update his extension. As he rightfully stated, Facebook (and Google) is very aggressive in combating ad blockers and often use tactics to sabotage such extensions.

can you make this block pages as well??? tired of seeing fb spam my account with pages for me to follow

No longer work, sponsored post from cringe pages keep coming...

It works for a month then it stops, I have to reinstall it every month, not sure what I am doing wrong. Anyway FB is not usable without this extension! <3

I wish it was open-source, but it does seem to work. At the moment it appears to be a simple alternative to F.B. Purity.
