Glitchy, unpolished and unfinished is how I would sum it up. No direct integration either. Only works on the Chrome browser. I cannot get it to work on Brave. Cannot edit priority or duration after a task has been set. Really? Also the pictures in the screen shots above are not even accurate. Do not pay for the pro version. I've added my own priority scale and the ones I've entered do not even show up when I've added them to a task. Also does not work with tasks on mobile. If I didn't know any better I would say this app was created through an AI program like Google Stitch or UXMagic AI.
The extension does not work. No response from dev to several requests. I paid for the Pro version. Dev needs to do the right thing and respond, even if the extension is not longer working, at least let users know. If no response from dev shortly I guess we report this to Google to remove it.
Nothing Happened. I think it doesn't work right now!
does not work for me. Nothing happened
Used to love this extension but a few days ago it stopped working for me. I have contacted the developer over email but haven't heard back yet. I figured out a weird bug that it works only if 1) I drag the task in my calendar so that it overlaps with 2 other events. It doesn't work if it overlaps with 1 event, but only 2 events or more. This obviously isn't a solution because I can't just make 2 other fake/empty events overlap just so that the task is the correct duration; or 2) once the task is completed. Also not a solution because it defeats the entire purpose. Version 1.5.0 Chrome up to date Version 142.0.7444.6
Hi! Right now it appears that I cannot edit the duration for the task once I create it. is that a feature that is coming? I don't want to have to delete tasks and "reschedule" them every time I change how long it is going to take.
This is great extension. 1. Please keep in mind that google account language should be set to English. My was different and the duration did not work. All tasks were 30m. After I switched to English, everything works. 2. I'm getting "This app is blocked" error too. Hope one day you will fix it. 3. It would be also really cool for customizable field to change the standard "h" to smth else. Like in my language "h" is "ч". So I have to switch to english if I am trying to add duration in tasks name.
The functionality seems really nice. Its just I can't install it at all. - Your browser & operating system? -> Chrome, Ubuntu 20 - Can you describe what actions you took when trying to use the application? -> I tried to connect it to Google tasks. It tells me : This app is blocked. This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access. -In case you are willing to try again, please try adding a duration to the end of the task title. For example -> Write Product Requirements Document (1h)-> Not working either
This is a game changer. I've been only using the free version and it's more than enough. I wish Google buys this from you guys and make it a native feature ;)
Doesn't work. Could never try the functionality as connecting failed on both Chrome and Brave. On Chrome when connecting to my account I get the following error during the authentication flow after giving access: This app is blocked This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access. On Brave browser, which is based on Chrome the connect button doesn't do anything. Immediately after try this I ended up with a virus installing other extensions. Very odd timing and generally concerning.
I had really high hopes for this product, but it falls short right now. I still have hopes for it in the future. The idea of being able to change the duration and priority of tasks in Google Calendar is exactly what I am looking for in my productivity process. My biggest disappointment is that tasks that originate on Google Tasks and are added to Google Calendar are not included in this extension. Still set at the default 15minutes, and we are unable to edit with the same menu of tasks naturally created on Google Calendar with this extension. I almost always add tasks on my Google task app and organize them later on my calendar when time blocking. Increasing the extension to Google tasks would be a game-changer for this product. Secondly, for free users, I wish there were a way to hide or grey out the priority and templates buttons if we are not paying for them. Ideally, the priorities would be included in a free feature, but that is not a deal breaker. Having these basically useless bubbles for free users is unintuitive and visually distracting. Feel free to reach back out if you would like greater detailed feedback. I hope this product can grow into something amazing!
ik zal wat fout doen, maar bij mij werkt het niet als ik een taak in mijn agenda aanmaak kan ik alleen een starttijd selecteren geen eindtijd
Great extension! I would love to be able to change the duration with handles on the calendar, being able to expand and contract it like we can do with events.
Works great, 5 stars if all day events would not be extended based on size in brackets. That support replan & would allow a "parking spot" until the exact time to action on it is finalized
this is awesome. i would love to contribute to this, feel free to send me a dm on twitter (@audricciel)
Great! But: The text of a task is correctly oriented at the top of each task – within the houres. Pretty correct. But if you define a task as "all day" (ganztags). (Maybe you know, what day to do something, but not, in which hour.) The task is correctly shown in the top, gets its needed height (One could overthink this, at the all-day-top!), but the text is oriented centered (not top). Thus the text is hidden behind the next all-day-calendar-entry, as the other entries just do not know about other entries bigger height, obviously. I don't know, why the text is oriented centered. Can you change it, to being oriented at the top, like it is at tasks down in the hours? (Or you define, that a all-day-task keeps the normal height like all other normal all-day-entries have.) Second thought: This does not help at the android calendar app, of course, as this is a chrome extension ... :-)
working, I am using it on opera browser but it is working without bugs. you need to write it like this: work-out (30m)
It actually works! Thank you ;)
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks! Super easy and very helpful. *Note to Others: After installing the extension, you might need to refresh/reload your calendar. I was adding the time duration at the end (e.g." Send Follow-Up Email (15m) ") but the task size wouldn't adjust. I exited Google Calendar and reopened it and ta da! That original task resized and now when I create more tasks they resize as soon as I save them.
Great!!!!! it really helped me a lot with planning out my meetings and tasks <3
Tried it several times and it won't work. A shame as it would be great if it did.
