Works great on unrooted Pixel XL and Pixel XL 2. I always use this app to transfer app data between devices.

Does not work, no instructions, no way to troubleshoot. Useless. I assume it would be fine, but it doesn't allow you to put in an IP address, so if it doesn't autodiscover your device, you're screwed.

This part does what it says... but the accompanying Android app is basically useless.

Just check if adb works in command line first. Once it does, this app works just fine. Many users down-rate this app because of connectivity issues with adb (which isn't the Apps fault), backup issues (which is often OEMs fault - looking at you, Sony) or limitations relative to root enabled backup (which is what it is - if you have root, use something else). Helium just provides an easier way to do adb backups and it does it well, but don't expect any magic beyond the limitations of adb.

Dosen't work on many apps as they cannot be backed up.

My device was not recognized and the "ADB Drivers" button is not working.

Doesn't always work, but it usually does and then it's a godsend.

Can be kinda hard to get going, but does actually work. Follow the instructions here: https://www.xda-developers.com/install-adb-windows-macos-linux/ Then after you get the connection prompt on your phone and accept, relaunch the ADB chrome app then go from there! Hope this helps someone!
