Message popped up to install this if I need more space on the right side of yahoo mail, so I pressed install. It looks like when I try to hide something with developer tools. And it changed my search engine from Google to yahoo. this is a spam....

used to love yahoo. but they stop the comment section and only have lberal news looking for a new home page.

It works for me, I have no ads in the side of my mailbox. The only thing that is missing is the search page. Whenever I open a new tab, had my computer set to Yahoo!, the search won't appear. I would recommend to my friends.

Summary: bad practice from yahoo and it only works if you keep "yahoo" as the default search engine on chrome. Once you disable, the yahoo mail site goes back to normal. This extension was recommended by Yahoo Mail, as a way to enlarge the readable screen area. They are at least upfront that it will change your search engine and the extension is now called "yahoo search" so there's no false advertising but still scummy. Looks like I'll go with my OS's mail service for now.

I pay monthly for YAHOO PRO and I have YAHOO HOMEPAGE an MAIL on Google browser. I have had no problems for a long time and all of a sudden every time I go to YAHOO HOMEPAGE I have YAHOO asking me to be my homepage. It was already my homepage. So I click yes and it takes me to GOOGLE'S EXTENSION and I click add to GOOGLE CHROME. OK I leave there to go play games and whatever else and come back to my YAHOO HOMEPAGE and I have to go through the same stuff with the GOOGLE EXTENSION and adding the YAHOO EXTENSION again , and again, and again.
