Suspicious. The URL still ends up having "th=1" at the end, which is a UTM tracking tag. The extension is tracking users instead of simply shortening the link.

Was great when it worked. Now whenever I click it, it just brings the settings dropdown
Very simple and easy to use.
Sometimes I wanna use multi files. so, if the author implements a tab, it will be more useful in my opinion.
But I proud of the author's philosophy. Keep it simple.
anyway thank you for create this app and it is open source.

Like lots of folks, I use Amazon to shop. Also like lots of folks, I find the URLs Amazon generates to be horrendously long. What I wanted was an extension that would automatically pull all the unneeded cruft out of the Amazon URL path and just leave me with a clean, short link to the item I am looking at.
For me, Amazon URL Shortener fits this bill. Best part is, this extension recently added support for Amazon Smile URLs as well!
How it works:
When you visit a long URL Amazon product page, (EG) https://www.amazon.com/Fire-Tablet-7/dp/B07HZQBBKL/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Kindle&qid=1604166896&sr=8-1
Amazon URL Shortener automatically rewrites the URL into a shorter one, (EG) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HZQBBKL
