I've tried using this a few times today, genuinely suprised at the quality of the translations. Not having to copy the text before pasting it into the translator is a neat bonus. Kinda sad that the glossary function is behind the subscription, so the only option I have is to let the AI decide the proper pronouns, which is not always accurate mind you. Other than that, it's been great to use. Would definitely recommend it!

Compared to most other web translators this extension is definitely a better option. It's not the best mind you, since copy pasting the raws into gemini or grok can provide the same quality translation depending on how you craft your prompt. It does win in the convenicence department though, being able to extract text from raw sites without worrying about the anti copy paste plugin sure makes reading those novels a bit more hassle free. Definite kudos for making this extension!

The UI is simple to use, works exactly as advertised, and the translation quality is definitely readable. So glad I found mentions of this extension while browsing NovelUpdates. Thank all that is good that you guys managed to make this!

Definitely one of the top novel translators out there. Though it's not perfect. It tends to confuse the pronouns of the character a lot. In addition, even in a korean novel where the setting is japanese and the author is explicitly using japanese affixes for some reason the extension uses the korean equivalents. (A bit nitpicky but its what i noticed.) Aside from that though, I'm amazed and somewhat curious on how it manages to bypass Novelpia's login block to extract the text to translate since most 'allow copy paste' extensions gets blocked by Novelpia's built in plugin. That said, impressive work. I hope this extension will last for a long time!

I don't know how you managed to allow this extension to (I presume) extract the text from the RAWs site and translate them since when i try the same those sites (Especially Novelpia) hits me with the no copy allowed plugin. But nevertheless, thank you for creating this extension! The amount of stories that are now available to me has increased by a lot!

I really like OpenNovel, it makes reading raw novels so much easier, and it’s super convenient to manage too.

This tool is really good, making consistent translations. The way you can easily replace words is really handy too, like if by any chance the translation put a name as "Kaden" and you just want to change to "Kayden" you can do it and it will keep translating correctly to the further translations, reccomended!

Its good has better translation compared to google and helps a lot with reading and even has a option to customize your character names, and save novels for later, pretty cheap to, though I wish it was free

I love OpenNovel, I started using it a few days ago because my favorite novel (Grasping Evil :3) didn't have official (or understandable) translations available after Ch. 560, after translating a chapter with OpenNovel the result feels like the official translation, though the glossary is a bit tricky to search but once is done huala... I love the glossary and the editing features the most. I 100% recommended using it.

It is an actual life saver usually i have a problem understanding what is going on whenerver I read something translated with an mtl, so this made my life a lot easier. It has very good translations and it is overall pretty easy to use.

I've been reading novels for I'd say about 7 years now🤔. There has been a lot of untranslated novels that I was interested in due to the description, but I've never been able to read a large majority of them😢. I've tried google translate and other mtl sites, but I can never enjoy the novel as much as I could have due to inconsistencies in pronouns and mistranslations🙄. (I'm a judgemental person so they always get me annoyed and I'm like stress talking to my screen😭) The translations OpenNovel give are more smooth and easy to understand as well as quick to access as long as you have the raws which, shoutout to kakaopage for being my holy sanctuary 🛐.
