ISSUE/FEAUTURE REQUEST: The suspended tabs lose their original titles when they gets suspended. It gets hard to remember which tab i was using on the previous sessions. Sometimes its impossible to resume to my previous workflow without opening a ton of other tabs until i find the right one because there are no names kept from the original tabs before having to click on them

Five-star before, this today F5-ing a hibernated tab sent me site about how to make different types of fires. I'm into survival stuff, but obviously this is right out. It should restore the hibernated tab, with all content preserved including text typed into an input field. This one is not up to that.

I love the feature of not activating tabs automatically when I open a suspended tab. Thank you for this great Extention.

Tabs would disappear and opened tab groups would get wiped without a trace...The suspender kept crashing with my momentum extension and possibly the video speed controller.

If you leave "Use Native Tab Discard API" unselected, in order to get tab dimming, the tab icons are somehow lost after a few restarts and the generic Tiny Suspender icon is used instead. The Marvellous Suspender also had this problem, but they released a fix for it. Something changed with Chrome, can you please look into it? Thanks!

Love this extension! Now that adblock is not going to work anymore in Chrome I'm shifting over to Firefox. Any chances of porting this extension over? I'd love to continue using it there!

Works great! I only deduct 1 star for you need to hover over the suspended tab to view the favicon of the website you have suspended...this becomes annoying when you have many suspended tabs. I will update to 5 stars if they update this.

Will break your tabs if you uninstall. Highly dangerous. Unless you use the Native Discard function -- trying now and hope it works. The same tab breaking problem goes for all other suspenders I've tried which are actually worse than this one. At least this one provides the safe Native Discard function.

Please add an option in the settings to suspend automatically all tabs on startup My browser crashed because this option doesn't exist. It's essential for users with too many tabs

Work as described. It would be great if the extension shows website screenshot instead of blank background. That's all I asked for. Meanwhile it will be the suspender to use until "Tab Suspender" support latest v3 coding.

great tool , the only problem i have is icon color when is green i can see it but when it's gray i need to look for it , since i'm using dark mode them.

As of now - the most adeqate v3 replacement for "the great/marvellous suspender". Still wondering though if it possidle to use native chrome discarding on tabs discarded by this extension.

Когда отключаете расширение , сразу теряете все вкладки затронутые этим расширением (вкладки автоматически закрываются при отключении расширения). Поэтому это расширение не надёжно .

-it was working OK, even on several accounts. But for the last 10 days or so when i click on it it's opening page options forever so i can't choose options, it still works automatics. It's the same on several machines, so it's not up to PC. AT least i think so. So what happened i have to idea. So i then switch into setting on chorme etc option remove the tiny suspender and reinstall it and it works for 1 day. And i'm in the loop of constant installing and reinstalling in order not to loose 1000+ tabs. IMPORTNAT! When you uninstall it read in settings and choose ''Native tab d'' or you will lost your tabs as i did in one window.

works great! It significantly reduces the memory consumption of inactive tabs by replacing each with HTML page where you need to click anywhere on the page to reload, which is very different from simply sleeping tabs as the latter essentially only pauses JavaScript of inactive tabs, but not necessarily stops all background activities, which can be inspected through Task Manager if you're on Windows. Anyway, additionally, this could also have dark mode to reduce the dazzling from white screen :) (Edit: sorry for my oversight, I've just found "toggle dark mode" in the extension settings, so don't mind that)

I've tried a few tab suspender extensions and this one by far is the most polished and well developed. Other tab suspender extensions also will suspend system tabs, like settings, mail (Vivaldi only), etc. Not this one! I hope development of this never stops!

For my old Mac Mini with non upgradable 4GB ram this has been a game changer for me. Works perfectly. I waited for a week before writing this review and I have absolutely no complaints. I have quit Chrome and restarted my computer just to check and everything works fine. I suspend most tabs and check them twice a day [email, Skype, etc]. It actually has helped me cut down on frequent checking of my email. The only thing I would suggest is to have some way to have one click suspending - now I click on the extension icon in the tool bar and then click on suspend. So it is two clicks, one would be better but I am not complaining. Thank you to the developers.

It's simple and just works, no gimmicks. Every extensions should be or at least have a lite version like this. Kudos to the developer!!!

I've tried many extensions as suspender. But This Tab Suspender is so user-friendly and easy to use. I loved it.

It was working for fine for a really long time, and I was very happy with it. However, it has now stopped working, and I don't know why. I have turned off all other extensions, and it still won't work. For that reason, I am uninstalling it.

The whitelist does not work.

Very good extension and a must have for tab hoarders. Needs a couple of tweaks and some bug fixes but I highly recommend it.

Spectacular for research papers! Literally the only comment I'd make is that occasionally it replaces the tab name with something like 'tinysuspender' which can be confusing, but overall it's really useful so I don't mind. Thank you!

This one far better solution alternative to The Great Suspender (deprecated in manifest v2). It can suspend them and not to load them after visit all websites, it's a big positive if you're tab hoarder and data saver.

Right click on context menu is missing an useful option Like Tiny Suspender -> Suspend other tabs, Suspend this tab.... other than that, its good.

This review for dev only. Hey dev, I am using your addon "Tiny Suspender" for almost 3 years since late 2019 after The Great Suspender become useless, and somehow your addon was useful, effective and never made me look back anywhere else. As a result, I am using it on all of my browsers wherever I could install this like on chrome, edge, brave, vivaldi and opera. But it works occasionally and sometimes that is also a failure. Major problems that I face while using your addon on edge. I have done settings within your addon to accept dark theme for itself and the pages suspended, but every other time, it is light/white. Next, pages both system pages and url pages, which I have requested your addon to not suspend, suspends itself thus not respecting any settings done. Examples like "edge://favorites/?id=1", "edge://history/all", "edge://wallet/", "edge://settings/passwords", "edge://apps/all" are whitelisted in your addon like this, edge://history/syncedTabs edge://favorites/ edge://favorites/?id=1 edge://favorites/?id=1 chrome-extension://fiedbfgcleddlbcmgdigjgdfcggjcion/management/management.html edge://settings/profiles edge://settings/privacy edge://favorites/ edge://newtab/ but still, these tabs are suspended. So, please look into these bugs. Also on opera, your addon fails to work. Also why your addon isnt available on edge addon store? Please consider adding to it. On chrome, it doesnt reflect in battery savings and tab resource usage. please check into that. Thanks. Will change my ratings once you resolve these bugs in edge and opera.

The extension works good untill you want to exclude some tab or site from being unloaded. It works few days and then forget all the settings and tabs are unloaded again.

This extension works well but when you disable auto suspension for a specific tab or add the tab whitelist and have dark mode enable it disables dare mode for all suspended tabs.

After removing it from browser it closed ALL tabs. SHAME on the developer. What a horrible extension.

I would really appreciate the possibility of total oled black theme of the suspended page. Other than that, perfect extenson.

I've been using this extension going on two years now and it does it exactly what it says. It saves memory and usually makes my life easier... as someone working with software, I often have into the 30s+ in tabs open. You can customize it to not suspend websites or specific pages as well. Even though I have a lot of memory, this simple extension makes chrome my go-to despite its tendency to act like it needs more than 3 gigs max of ram to run multiple videos at once.

I used to stand by this Extension until settings STOPPED Working! No matter what time you put in this app suspends tabs almost immediately! It also does NOT work according to "White Listed" tabs and You'll LOSE Comments on Twitter or other sites when they too are all SUSPENDED!

BEWARE. Once you enable it-- there appears to be no way to back out of having your tabs controlled by it. If you disable, tabs it has suspended are lost. If you try "unsuspend all," no go. You're stuck. Tell it not to suspend any more tabs? It keeps doing so. And it obfuscates tab icons / names when it suspends. Naughty naughty, hard to work with.

I don't write often reviews but in this case, I'll gladly do it. I have tried several other similar tools but this one is really the best and easiest I tried. And more important it works as announced ! I advice it to everyone.

Simply the best, most versatile suspender out there. I use it in native mode, together with the "sloth" extension and it's a great combination. (suggestion: include the "sloth" functionality directly in Tiny Suspender)

when I restart my browser, all the tab icons switched to a power off icon, so impossible to know which tab is which. This is why uninstalled.
