I haven't used it often - probably because AFFIRM, which should go bankrupt, is in everybody's face. ZIP is great, has always helped me out and I have NEVER had any problem - smooth sailing. ZIP will not let you purchase on pc. great on the phone.

Why is it still not working for so many people and still pushed so hard in the app store

I've been trying to explain a problem with their extension on the Chrome browser, but they do not seem capable of understanding the issue. I love Zip (Quadpay), so I will continue to use the service even though it requires way too many additional steps. Support is friendly and replies within a reasonable amount of time, but offering the same suggestions, worded differently isn't going to fix the problem lol. [12/24/23] So, it was working a few days this week, keep your fingers crossed folks.

Doesn't even work

Began using then quadpay in 2018 on my mobile in 2019 my mobile app completly stoped working after being on hold with their Customer service for long hours on multiple days. I also reached out to to thier email and after 15 days they answered telling me that they were going to look into my acount and give me an update on what was going on this was the last message customer service left me min you this was on April 2019. Moving foward I decided to do some reaserch and tried out the extension again 2021 extension worked well 2022 extension stopped working now I get all sorts of error mesaages some about the browser and console and the other is telling me that i cannot use my number creat the card because its viop number whats funny is that its the same number carrier and plan that I had when i first began using them. My adive would be for you to steer clear of this headache thier customer service is garbage the extension doesnt work and niether does the app

This used to be a good app/extension until the update. It no longer is exceeding my expectations, there's other apps that are better since after the update. I'll be deleting my 'ZIP' account, it was nice while it lasted.

Chrome extension doesn't work anymore.

Used to be great as Quadpay; I had used it several times with no issues for large purchases over $800, and paid it back in full early, even. Unfortunately, since it was taken over by Zip, the quality and service has gone completely downhill. Despite all my previous purchases, there's now severe limits on how much you can purchase at one time, to the point of the app being pointless. It's just there to harvest your data, now. Another great app and service ruined by an invasive 3rd company.

Absolutely useless. Click on Pay with Zip does nothing. A quick look at the Chrome console shows an endless stream of errors, warnings about running the Vue development version (seriously guys??). Would you trust your financial information to an add on written by developers who don't even know how to package a release version?

I am not too thrilled with the extension but with Zip is amazing. I recommend to everyone I know. Truly a life saver at times.

Edit: Must've been a glitch because I tried again the next day and it's working fine. Original: One star because I can't log into my Zip account through the extension. Had to uninstall.

this app i useless, doesnt show anything when you add something in your cart always says "error" need to work more on this extension

I am brand new to this app as of today. It is like awesome magic to be able to sign up, be approved right away, and be able to order great restaurant food on Door Dash and use the virtual Zip card to pay the order with. I only paid 25% of the total upfront on my debit card and the other 75% of the total was broken up into 3 other installments, each of them 2 weeks apart. So freaking cool!!! The only reason I'm giving the Zip app 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because of how painstakingly slow the app is. You have to have alot of patience to select things and place your order. I'm talking AOL slow speeds, even with me having a good smart phone, memory, and blazing fast internet speeds. Other than that, Zip app really works if you're in a tight money spot like many of us are. Thank you so much for this service that can be used on food!!!

Good extension workers better than the Android App. Its more fluid and easy to maneuver threw without strange app lag on stores. I simply enable it when I plan on using it. Allowing it on 24/7 creates a lag or pop up to encourage you to use the app in check outs in browser.

This extension is terrible. It worked once, then after I had paid off that first purchase it kept cancelling me on future purchases saying I had an unpaid account--even though it had been paid for months. Tried contacting the company for help and have never heard back through live chat or email..not a single word from them. Now it will allow me to go through and get a card number, but the cards are getting declined every time with every vendor. This is a prime example of how not to run a business. Highly disappointed and frustrated. Don't waste your time.

The app itself works similarly to how the app on your mobile phone works, however I have removed the chrome extension since it does seem to cause issues with video players (especially YouTube) where videos will load slowly or not even at all. (I tried videos with and without the extension and when the extension is on chrome it seems to affect it and when I remove it, it's not an issue). Hope the developers will look into this.

While I enjoy the service and the convenience of this extension. it's really annoying that it opens up a pop-up on every page it can be used on. Just let me click the button when I want to use it, I don't need a chunk of my screen taken by the extension every time I'm looking at certain pages.

Havent been able to login to the app for MONTHS have reached out over a dozen times with NO RESPONSE FROM SUPPORT. Was a great app and very useful up until I was unable to log in anymore.

Just tried using it for the first time and it denied me. It gave no reason whatsoever of why it denied me and just offered me links that sent me to pages with vague explanations as to why I may have been denied. Not helpful at all and makes me feel like this app probably discriminates users since it is not transparent about it's process of how they decide who qualifies or doesn't.

Incredible Chrome extension! I am a big Rakuten user, and have been waiting for a chrome extension that allowed me to split payments in four. Now that this extension is here, I have been thrilled with it. I am going to be using this extension a LOT!

As a shopper, this app is incredibly convenient since there are still many stores that have not partnered with quadpay or other similar split-payment solutions. As a software engineer, this chrome extension has definite room for improvement. The main issue is that the popup is fairly large and intrusive, and triggers on almost every single page. There doesn't seem to be any way to control when/how often it triggers or to make the pop up disappear without manually clicking on it. The popup doesn't disappear after a certain length of time, which is what similar Chrome extensions like Honey do. If the engineering team can put a timer on the popup for something like 4 or 5 seconds so it automatically disappears after that length of time then the UX would be significantly improved. Another point for the engineering team is to please clean up your console.logs :) It's annoying when I'm debugging my own apps and I have your console.log statements filling up my console on every page refresh. We've all made the mistake of shipping code with console statements to production before, but please remove them going forward since there is almost never a good reason to have console statements in a live app.

I'm enjoying QuadPay and their method of splitting up payments. This extension is the cherry on top, and it made my purchase so streamlined and easy to use. I was able to purchase my item faster than what it would take to pull out my wallet and type in the card details. I'll be using again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love it! When shopping I like to use my laptop. Partially because their is Wiki Buy, Honey, Coupert, Rauketan, that all give promo codes. But I also just genuinely like to make "big decisions from my laptop. Great idea Quadpay!

This extension is awesome. Was able to use it to split up a purchase of ski gear into 4 payments, which was really helpful! I was approved right away and it was simple to use. I love that you can use this at any store! Way better than AfterPay.
