This program is brilliant. MASSIVE time saver in the role I work in which is reviewing user submitted content on blog posts. Can quickly skim the content looking for highlighted words vs having to read the whole document. The ability to automatically sync the lists with spreadsheets is a game changer. Means I can maintain one list and everyone in the team gets the updated list of words or phrases we want them to focus on.

I like the program but several days ago all my highlights started to blink on and off for some reason. I sent in a bug report days ago but haven't heard anything back. I tried reloading the program and it continues to blink all the highlights.

Have been using this one for a month. Amazing extension! It doesn't slow down the work in the tab even if you have more than 500 highlighting filters. You can set multiple colors, regex filters, set up search by certain selector, create automated links to the pages. Insane! This one is extremely good when you work with lots of text and need to understand the core meaning in short time.

Awesome extension, I would like a bit more flexibility in the action feature, I have a page that provides IP addresses but not in a clickable form I would love to be able to just put %t% into the link box under action.

Is there a way to disable debug mode? The value for "Debug" is hardcoded to true in the script, causing unnecessary console output that severely slows performance for me. Regards

Is it possible to let user categorize words of different highlight colors in form of groups, such that the user can choose when to trigger all those different colors of highlights as a whole group ?

Used to be great, but now you can only highlight 200 words without paying an annual subscription. I'm not paying an annual subscription for a browser extension.

Update Review: And why are there no short cuts? Only right mouse click does not really allow to fluently highlight in long text.. Would highly appreciate a response from the developer.. If this would all work, I'd go for it and pay.. Highlighting works, also in Gmail, but in the list, where all highlights are stored, there is no reference link, back to the place where the highlight comes from. Why? (Also have Simple Gmail Notes installed, a little note field above every email. If I copy paste some text I would like to highlight in there, it always gives me the option to browse all sources where my highlights came from. Problem is only works in Gmail and I have to copy paste instead of highlighting.. )

Good tool, it does what it says, only one issue, I see borders in the highlighted words, makes it a bit annoying when many words are highlighted

only issue I have is when using LinkedIn, it causes bizarre and funny doubling of the highlighted terms. Happy to share screenshots with team.

i LOVE this extension! We had a problem with it early 2025: despite paying the renewal i had not been able to receive the license key right away, however, they contacted me and fixed the issue within a few days and even refunded my double subscription within a 2 days! I am grateful because this extension is THE BEST highlighting tool: it works great, you can create an unlimited number of lists and new words to highlight, etc. too many good sides to list them all. Thank you for your help and support Wim!

STOLE MY MONEY DO NOT INSTALL THIS EXTENSION I renewed my app and it does not work, i did NOT receive my new license key and it DOES NOT WORK on 80% of the websites I use it for anymore!! I keep trying to reach out to them with the email address they provide with the invoice and they DO NOT respond, provide support and NEITHER fix the problem.

THIS DEVELOPER STOLE MY MONEY I paid for this service MONTHS ago and it is asking for a product key, which I never received. The ONLY option to contact the developer is to post on the Support Issues page, and there are several other people with the same issue, and ZERO replies from the developer. I also tried using the "Give Feedback" option to report this to Google, and have not received a reply from them, either. I even emailed the developer initially, when they sent my payment receipt, because the extension was still asking for a product key, which was not included on my invoice OR payment receipt. I NEED SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY!! At this point, the developer has fraudulently taken money from me, and I would like: A) Google to contact me about this and tell me why there aren't safeguards put in place for these types of issues with Chrome Extensions, and why having developers provide an option to contact them isn't REQUIRED in order to sell things on the Chrome Web Store, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING there's no option to contact Google in ANY WAY when we get ripped off by a fraudulent sale B) A full refund C) EVERYONE TO KNOW THE PAID VERSION OF THIS EXTENSION IS A SCAM I suppose if leaving this review doesn't get me somewhere, then I'll be forced to call my bank and report the transaction, as well as the BBB and/or FTC. This is ridiculous. It's been MONTHS. I've played with a few different highlighter extensions. This one seems to exceed them by far. Right click addition is perfect, it runs really fast with HUNDREDS of highlights. Now, if only I could add some text as well. Highlight Yellow, Text Red, Superscript text "170 max buy".

took a while to get the google spreadsheet connected but now works like a dream. google scripts and daily triggers keeps the list always up to date. fantastic tool. only downside is the lack of support here, not really present, so had to figure out myself. All in all, great tool for your daily business.

This extension is excellent and works perfectly. It allows tons of customization as well.

Love this extension. Out of all the similar Highlighting extensions, this one is the best. The only thing that could make it better is if it was possible to add notes to specific words/phrases, so that when you see a highlighted word on a page, you could hover over it and have a box drop down and display your own note that is associated with that highlighted word/phrase. That's probably asking a lot, but it would be so useful.

I recently used Highlight This to highlight specific words on a webpage. It worked great, and saved me a lot of time!

After evaluating this I find it really good and would had gone premium if it was not that markup words needs to be 3 characters or longer. I am searching for special combinations of 2 characters, thus it won't mark up the match.

Really helpful when dealing with high volume data, forms and sheets for fast pace work. Simple to get up and running. Only issue I found with it is that it can lead to malformed data showing on the page (specifically when highlighting numbers). I'm not sure why but would presume it finds something on the client which shouldn't be visible and highlights it. Realistically this should be pretty rare and not impact the experience much unless you're a very special case. You can quickly disable/re-enable the extension anyway.

This is *required* for job searching. I'm easily 10x faster and it's much less stressful. I'm paying for Highlight This and love it! <3
