It goes into PiP (Picture-in-Picture) display, but once it's in PiP mode, pressing 'Back to Tab' doesn't restore it to the original state. Even after removing the extension, it doesn't return to normal, and it remains in a state where only audio and subtitles are displayed on a black screen. What should I do about this?

A lot of people here have said that it doesnt work, but they're wrong. I think they didn't upload the custom picture correctly. Whilst it took a few minutes to figure out, I was able to get the extension to work. I am now, amazingly, obi-wan kenobi on netflix. Hell yeah. Btw, to change your profile picture on netflix to be custom, dont go through netflix itself. Click directly on the extension itself through the top right extension tab on the screen. Then it will allow you to upload any profile picture you would like, through pc files. Then the new picture should stay on the actual netflix site completely. Thank you sm for this.

ts so peak now i can finally watch my animes without getting butt blasted by 50 ads every 30 seconds, go by the 5 star reviews and use it, this extension is actually greater than i thought it would be.

Obviously has some things that could go wrong, but this is the best ad skipper for hulu. I find it is the least likely to break and doesn't annihilate your ears when it skips ads.

I just tried this in a very dark Netflix movie in a Chromebook notebook, and it worked. Video image was considerably brightened and now I can see it properly. So far... so good.

After around a week of remembering this extension existed, (used to use it back in middle school), i have saved so much time it's insane. My episodes go from like 50 minutes to their true times of 40 minutes because of this ad skipper. I love it and will let you know if errors occur in future. If no update, then its working.

DIDNT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was skipping fine for a few days but now it just mutes the ads and they play at regular speed. Hope this gets resolved soon.

stopped working! i've been using this for over a year. the ads are also causing the subtitles to no longer be in sync :/ hopefully it gets fixed or there's another alternative.

So adblocker technically hasnt "stopped" working, Ad's will pop up but can be skipped manually. regardless of what the passive aggressive review below mine says, "Turning it off and back on" did nothing. I tried multiple times and the ads still popped up. It's much of a problem more so just inconvenient. I waws watching family when this happened>

Stop saying this doesn't work, when you if at anytime ever, even after turning these on decide to watch on your phone or other devices without adblockers again even for a few moments. You have to turn these off and on again for adblock to work on the device these are on again. or you will be like the ones who assume these don't work "anymore". Hulu are just smart somehow. But not that smart lmao. These work, so cut the bs and learn how tech works. Edit: I said adblockers, you need far more than one. I have like a dozen or two. These three hulu adblockers and yes I use three, and as a combo have to be turned off and on for them to work again. The other adblocks like ublock etc are needed aswell. Again, learn tech people. Please haha.

Has been working great up until today. The ads show up and you can manually skip through them like they're apart of the show i'm watching. The only thing missing is the Ad symbol in the top corner. Hopefully this is something that can be resolved!

Did work for a while but hulu has made a workaround by removing the ad symbol in the top left

I have been looking for the perfect extension to use on my IPad with the Orion browser and I have tried other extensions like Ultrawideo and Ultra Widify and they have basically been all trash. Being able to manually implement the aspect ratio and it actually working is exactly what I have been waiting for. Thank you so much for this information.

Not only does not work, it somehow has blocked Hulu from loading at all, even after removing the extension.

used to work great, now is broken completely. I am sure the developer is working on fixing the issues and restoring the extension but until it gets fixed its one star.

Having trouble with PIP as the extension doesn't activate it. It used to but now for some reason it will not load. I have checked privacy and security and it in faded lettering says 'allow' but nothing happens. What else can I try to make it operate on Prime Video. Thanks

hasn't worked recently. it freezes and i have to refresh the tab. i get stuck in a loop and the video never plays

Idk what happened. The extension worked well for a long time but idk if they updated it or Chrome updated or even Hulu itself, but now this extension is practically dead. I noticed over the last few weeks that whatever I was watching would freeze when it was time for ads to play, and I would have to refresh the page. And you know, Hulu has an insane number of ads, more than any other streamer at this point, so you can imagine how often I was refreshing. But in the last two days though, the extension makes your shows practically unwatchable. On top of freezing and forcing you to refresh, sometimes you have to completely exit your shows and reopen Hulu several times-- the same amount of time wasted if you had just sat and watched the ads. Other times, the show would "skip" or fast forward through certain parts of the show/movie I guess suspecting an ad break but then it lets the ads play in entirety on mute. I hope they find a fix soon because this is rouuuugggghhhhhhhh. Practically ended my binge because it was exhausting.

Extension is great but has some flaws, especially with the most recent update. Prior to this the video would freeze and stop the episode entirely; refreshing the page, returning to the Hulu main site and selecting the video again, or even removing the extension and adding it again would resolve the issue. This would be occasional (like 20% of the time). Now, the freezing is significantly increased (~70%) and the ads no longer skip consistently and quickly (sometimes it just plays the whole thing while muted). The remedies I've tried before don't seem to work consistently either. I hope a patch is released to address these problems because outside of that this is genuinely a good extension to have.

Works 20% of the time. Freezes 80% of the time. So I gave 20% of the rating.

Pretty decent ad blocker for hulu's EXCESSIVE ads. However, I find the ads getting stuck more often after latest version. Even after refreshing the browser, it still gets stuck.
