Why in heavens name is this extension writing to my c:\program files sub-directory everytime its used either in chrome, vivaldi, or brave ??? NOT COOL ! Here is just one folder example, along with the other 400 PLUS folders it created. I'm glad I caught this before it grew to a serious monster size for sure. Example; Folder Names = chorme_url_fetcher_6654_778866444. Basically everytime you click on a speed dial thats been created this is automatically being created on its own. You need to re-vamp this. Clouding up someones hard drive with empty folders or not, is in no way acceptable, especially without permissions period ! Sad, this had potential for sure. But I will be removing it .

This extension is really useful, but there's just one issue I've been experiencing There's an issue where highlighted words in editable content remain highlighted even after changes. For example, if I highlight the word "some" and then replace it with a different word, the highlight doesn't disappear. Is this difficult to fix? Thanks ps. or I'd like to be able to individually configure for each highlighted keyword whether it should also be highlighted within 'editable content' areas.

Eine wirklich super App. Allerdings gibt es 2 Sterne abzug, da man nur dann die Pro-Version bekommen kann, wenn man bei der Klapsmühle "Patreon" einen Account schaltet. Left FVD Speed dial cause it was bloatware at this point. I wish i found out about this sooner. Is there a way to make the dials not see through? I have some dials like youtube that has the play button in the middle but it doesnt fill the whole dial so you can see part of the background image which sometimes is a issue which can blend the colors to the icon because my wallpaper changes daily. is there a way to fill the background of the dial to a solid color so the dials are not see through?

Good extension, but I'm experiencing a specific issue with my account. When I'm not logged in, the extension works fine, as well as with other accounts. However, with my main account, previews are not displayed. I have also tested on Firefox, Edge, and with a new Chrome profile, but the issue persists only with that account. As soon as I log out, everything works again. Could it be that my account has received more recent updates compared to the fix in version 4.7?

I just came from a nightmare with FVD Speed dial, up until 2 years ago it was ok, average is the highest I will give it. I have been waiting a life time for someone to develop one with a lot of options. Thank You so so much, so far so good. My biggest complaint and will always be, is the FACT one day all your speed dials would be there, and then the next POOF, all your speed dials would be GONE ! I was like after the 4th time this month, he's lucky I can't reach through the screen right now. In closing, when I get a chance I Will buy you a few cups of coffee for sure, and again thanks for this, this looks GREAT !

I used this extension in Vivaldi. In the last few days, the extension stopped working properly. After opening a new tab, an error with chrome (with a bird) appears. You have to click "refresh" 4/5 times, only then the extension appears. Reinstalling the extension did not help. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I'll have to change the extension.

I was hoping this would allow me to scroll by pressing once on the middle mouse button and then moving the mouse, not holding the middle button down the whole time (ie. function on Mac as it does on Windows). Is it possible to add that as an option in the settings?

It does NOT synchronize tabs across multiple devices. It only gives a list of tabs opened on other connected devices. Chrome has that feature built-in (Ctrl+H). No need for an extension that transmits sensitive personal data (your browsing behavior & history) to some obscure cloud server.

My initial usage for about 2 weeks is that it does everything I need it to. I came from FVD and even though I used it for years there were minor annoyances every so often with it. I put up with it's clunky interface because it worked well, or so I thought. It turns out it was probably one of the main extensions that caused tabs to crash in my browser(Vivaldi, which is what I moved to when Firefox killed FVD). There were even times where, whether through extension error or human "error," my dials would get reset(This last time I deleted storage data for extensions trying to fix a website not loading.) But without an easy unified one file backup(You either needed to copy some code that didn't get every setting, or use another extension to upload to a cloud), it would have been tedious to recover things so I decided to just try something else and I landed on your extension. I find this has a vastly superior interface and offers a lot more customization(like being able to easily give background colors to individual dials. And the "Export all" button works great to save pretty much everything(mainly my thumbnails) and transfer it between different browsers(I may use cloud one day but I really just want an easy offline backup option which this does wonderfully.) One question I have though is does the extension create a cache of the thumbnails as individual files somewhere on the hard drive? At one time I managed to find FVD's cache and it pretty much had small ".png" files with every thumbnail image I used, whether the original was via file or URL. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my setup now(275 dials took a while).

Why developers still think using Ctrl+Alt for shortcuts is a good idea. AltGr (Ctrl+Alt) is used on Polish systems to input diacritics! The options menu hotkey Ctrl+Alt+O clashes with input for ó on Polish keyboard layout. And there is no way to disable it! Are you serious? I was using it for some time now, but not anymore since it makes my experience unusable.

Worked great for years, now nothing (except for "Uncaught TypeError: Promise.withResolvers is not a function".) Everything's gone. I'm not tech-savvy in a lot of ways, so I doubt I can fix this. I think I need to remove this extension, find an alternative in the Chrome store and set up every single dial all over again.

It's obvious to me. Google, Microsoft and others... are playing the same tune. They are forcing us all to switch to a new OS. I wonder why? Are they worried about our security? Or do they have other plans? They will deliberately drag it out and create compatibility issues to play on our nerves.

27.0 версия неработоспособна, по крайней мере на последней версии браузера Cent! Благо завалялась старая версия, откатился. Кто гонится за обновлениями, имейте это ввиду на всяк случай. Расширение отличное, но ставлю одну звезду, потому что потратил время и нервы, пока разобрался в чем проблема, и как её поправить. Разработчик, не нужно гоняться наперегонки, прежде выкладывать новое, если там действительно что-то существенно новое, то нужно это дело тестировать, а потом выкладывать! Вижу, что проблема не только у меня. Интересно, а что, нельзя убрать с магазина это глючное обновление, раз уж оно глючное, чтоб никто временно не обновлялся на это? Убрать проблемное, временно пусть народ пользуется более старой версией, зато работоспособной. Так нет, пусть народ страдает, а заодно и репутацию подпортит автору, так что ли выходит? Или гугл не дает убрать расширение из магазина, если с ним проблемы? Если гуглу не нравится какое-то расширение, то он никого не спрашивает, хорошее, полезное, рабочее или нет, берет и перекрывает дыхалку к этому расширению под предлогом какого-то несоответствия, а этих несоответствий гуглу не занимать, он ради своих санкций их найдет, даже не взирая на свою бредовую паранойю по отношению к окружающим!

I've seen your update status on Github, maybe you could "limtied new extension version on newer chrome version". (e.g. group speed dial 27.0 only applied on chrome 120+) Chrome always wants to auto update chrome itself and extension for security reason. I have tried lots of trick (e.g. edit dns host ip, windows regedit...) to stop extension auto update but failed. Finally, I install old version of chrome to avoid update some other extension but still hit black screen of group speed dial, sad...

Народ, чего шумим, пока автор вносит исправления пользуйтесь загрузкой своих вкладок из облака, зайдите в аккаунт нажмите на вкладку Cloud Dials, скопируйте ссылку "group-speed-dial.fastaddons.com/cloud/" открывшегося окна с диалами, можно даже создайть временный ярлык для запуска браузера с этой ссылкой на раб.столе.

Удобное расширение, на Opera работает и синхронизация и backup и много мелких настроек вида. Имхо, лучший вариант на 2025, не крашится как FVD, больше вариантов настройки, чем SD2

Have completely changed how I use computer. Earlier I used to prefer installing standalone apps but now I prefer using web versions of all apps because on web, I can use this extension.
