KAGI SEARCH ist für mich die beste Alternative zu Google. Die Suchmaschine wird permanent weiterentwickelt, läuft prima und lässt nichts vermissen. Ich geniesse die Ruhe, weil unnötiger Kram einfach weggelassen wird oder gar nicht erst erscheint. Die Suche ist effizient, präzise und angenehm schnell. Die Jungs und Mädels von Kagi machen einen grossartigen Job – seit über einem Jahr bin ich absolut zufrieden.

A very easy to use and powerful tool.

Heard a lot of times about this search engine, have been using it for few hours and so far i really enjoy it, love the "Quick Answer" feature.

Hands down the best search engine ever built. So many features, no ads, the money spent is worth it. This is my go to search engine. From academic to image to AI, kagi is my all purpose search engine. If I want a succinct summary I append a ? mark to the query and it brings me to the Assistant query interface. No duplicates, no ads, I am mighty happy with kagi. More power to you kagi for making my life easier. You are worth it.

I will improve the rating when I can select "Muriel" model as default. Right now, the need to click several times each time I need to summarize a webpage is a neglected issue.

I love Kagi... BUT, for reasons I don't know, this extension started overwriting the new tab page. It's the typical Chrome new tab page, but for example, it's missing the Google integrations like recent drive files, etc. and it seems like customization options are gone.

It's unfortunate that Google has become indiscernable from that which it sought to destroy in the 90s (AOL). Kagi is to Google what Google was to AOL. except better. thanks for saving the internet, Kagi. It's unfortunate that it costs money, but we've seen all too well what happens with 'free' internet things.

Straight forward, reasonably accurate result.

I'm not sure about DuckDuckGo nowadays and Kagi has a great AI found within. It's an paid service (Kagi.com) and I appreciate paying for the search results as they pretty much 100% of the time are of a higher quality than using the same search on Google.com

Best search of the internet.

This is a helpful tool for summarizing long-form web pages (blogs, how-to's, etc.). The default config uses the free version, which in my testing seems to work well, although responses can be a little slow. My tests with the paid API's have been very fast (and accurate). However, the user interface could use a little polish... perhaps a Help link or something that provides an easy description of the various AI models and notable differences.

Kagi is a breath of fresh air! It is simple to use and has no annoying ads. It has quickly become my favorite search engine. The paid version is well worth the price.

Great, But Not Ideal for Windows Users I've been using Kagi for a while now, and I must say, it’s an impressive search engine. The privacy-focused approach, combined with the clean, ad-free experience, makes it a refreshing alternative to the big players like Google. The ability to customize search results, use "Lenses," and benefit from powerful AI tools like the Universal Summarizer are definite highlights that set Kagi apart. However, I would love to see the "Summarize page" option in this plugin. Kagi itself deserves 5 stars (one star missing for the lack of an android app). This plugin sadly not, but it is the best option for chrome based browsers.

Brave search and duck duck go were feeling like a downgrade from Google search. This is straight up an upgrade from Google. Way better experience surfing the net. Probably a sub for life.

Impressive. Love the ui and most importantly relevant results like the google of ages past! Paid subscriber after two searches.

Big advantage of using Kagi: it recognizes automatically when I am searching in another language, whereas Google insists on using local search results in a different language. Nice clean UI and searches yield relevant results.

A search engine that is what Google _used_ to be: gives you the best results without garbage, paid placements, ads, or search results boosted because someone paid for them to be.

Finally I can trust a search engine. Thank you for creating Kagi!

I was skeptical, but I really like it. I only wish the starter plan was 500 searches instead of 300. I mean the net plan up is unlimited searches and has two features using AI. The "starter" is designed to to upsell you. hence its name starter vs basic. I really don’t need the AI features.

Kagi has been a massive improvement to my life over Google search. Just try it to understand. And the pricing is so much better now too - previous reviews state that it's pay-per-search, but that's not the case any more! US$10/mo for unlimited searches is so good. I'm a total convert honestly. And the ability to summarize pages using this extension is also such a blessing.

Better than Google.

It works fine, but the searches are much too expensive. 1.5 cents per search may not sound like a lot, but it adds up quick. Have you ever needed to search for something, and tweaked your search query several times before finally finding what you need? Suddenly that 1.5 cent search becomes a lot more expensive. You change a single word in your search, that's another 1.5 cents. I tore through the 100 trial searches in just a couple days. At that rate, maybe 1500 searches, $22 per month? That's more than an ad-free 4k Netflix subscription! That same $22 will buy you 11 million tokens through the ChatGPT API! I admire what Kagi is trying to accomplish in the search space, but the service is much too expensive for people like me.

Kagi Search Has Issues. I did create an account but my login only works less than half the time. The extension problem may be with Kagi Search itself.

For some reason, it stops working after some time, and I need to reinstall it. Not sure what's the problem...

Best search engine there is

It would be nice to separate the two functionalities: - set Kagi as default - use Kagi in incognito I prefer to use a different search engine by default but still have Kagi in incognito, and with this extension it's all or nothing.

I really like Kagi search, and hoped this extension would allow me to choose it as the default search engine for Brave. It doesn't seem to do anything, which is disappointing. Still planning to use Kagi, though.

Impressed by the search engine, but the extension itself doesn't seem to play well with Opera GX. It doesn't set itself as a default search engine properly, and trying to use it in incognito mode ended up crashing the whole browser. Hopefully updates will get the extension running smoothly in this browser!
