They took forever to give me my test after showing my whole section and I started after my test time so it's definitely frustrating.
got kicked out 3 times, each time proctors asked for more stuff, even asked me to turn off security camera monitor, which shut down my whole systems. smh too many technical issues
I gave it two stars for how convenient it is to be able to take the test from anywhere and not having to go to a testing site. Unfortunately, I did get kicked out of the exam FOUR times and had to relaunch the sire and go through all the steps again to continue with the test. very frustrating.
It wasn't bad but I did get kicked out of the test and had to re-launch the exam and go through the steps again.
It wasn't bad for my first on-line test, but I was not able to do the survey part at the end for some reason.
it was fine but I was unabble to do the survey at the end.
It was ok
very strict, and frustrating, the environment check took 20 minutes alone. And they asked me to check a trashcan when it wasn't even there. Same with a TV check that didn't even work. Very AI ish.
This was the first online examination experience in which I experienced significant anxiety. The proctor communicated exclusively through the chat function and did not speak during the exam. Verbal communication would have been helpful in providing reassurance and clarity, especially during moments of uncertainty. After reaching question 100, the system unexpectedly locked me out of the exam. I was required to log back in, which was both stressful and disruptive. When I inquired about what had occurred, I was directed toward technical support but did not receive a clear explanation at that time. Although I was ultimately able to complete the exam, the interruption and lack of direct communication significantly impacted my focus and heightened my anxiety. I believe improvements in communication and technical reliability would greatly enhance the overall testing experience for future examinees.
It was the best. The proctor was very nice and helpful. Although there were minor issues.
literally the worst proctors ever. I literally had to remove the most bizzare things from my desk. So annoying took me 20 min to even start.
i had done the compability check before scheduling online proctor exam the day of the exam took me 30 min to get the PSI extension i google it and got it that way since the link provided keept saying error, once connected took about 10 min for a proctor to connect with me but would only use chat... shy not talk it was strange, and then my phone alarm started ringing i ask in the chat can i turn it off? 3 times didnt answer so i did turn it off and i got a warning alert and it was paused for a moment, question 84 he had to fix because i wasnt being ablo to continue. But when i finish my 120 questions he says just finish. the cession, click the finish cesion button! im glad i didnt there was an exit button you need to click first so i asked and then you go into a bad survey then you click finish and exit, thats it. losyt of questions badly formulated and several about same thing, some that are not even a thing... little bit like the study guide and exams dont mach with same info same here...
Worst experience. I kept getting transferred to new proctors. They made me recheck my space 5 times. It was infuriating.
Kept getting kicked out of the test.
It is not my favorite but I understand the extreme strictness of the exam I had to take. I was very fortunate that almost everything went smoothly, there was a 1 minute crash that I had experience during my last 10 min of my test
Honestly, I wish I could leave less!!!!! my experience was horrible for some reason the proctors kept getting kicked out (which I made sure my end was perfect before I started) but kept saying it's a problem on my end which I know it wasn't. so, I kept having to wait for a new proctor to check my room and each one found a new problem which pushed me back so when I asked about the clear problem, I was just told I got to call custom support. Don't forget you have to wait forever just for a response.
If I could give less I truly would.. horrible Horrible experience almost didn't let me take the test and stated couldn't see me but my image was clear on my screen. would not help will simply questions.. no real directions on how to submit your exam just hit exit and then it tells you.. your answers may not be retained.. horrible will not be using this company again and I was seriously considering another certification. it's best if you have a plan room not cats/dogs are anything.. you have to show your phone/ears/wrists/back and front of your hands.. like you are going in to a jail.. surprised they didn't make me undress. you have to take off your glasses and show that plain readers are not smart glasses.. it's absolutely crazy.. never again
Great experience
I had no issues.
Great experience. Beats driving three hours one way.
test program itself was tedious but helpful and easy to navigate, my proctor was unbearable and asked to see more than stated in the test regulations and made me move desks then complained about said desk and made me remove stuff that wasn't mentioned in the rules. I had 20 less minutes on my exam.
proctor making the test unbearable
It suppose to be no star at all. The proctor was responding late when every single second was important. I couldn't even start my examination on time. Already late for scanning my room & than my laptop just hanged on my practice question. When I talked to the tech department & customer service 46 minutes gone. What was the point to start my exam!! Still the technician wanted to connect me. What was the guaranty that it won't happen again? Now I don't know if I can register again with the same payment. I am really very upset today!!
The proctor was what made the test unbearable. I felt like they were intruding on my privacy by having to show them my room more than 10 times and in certain areas. I even explained my office setup. I have a small room with half of it being my daughter's items that she has not moved out yet. I am crammed into a corner with not a lot of room. Nothing was within my reach, which I explained. The orange box was not underneath my desk, it was on the other side, in which I got up with my laptop and showed the proctor it was on the other side of the desk and even kicked it. I was so frustrated by the 30 minute shake down and nit picking, I could not take my test in the concentration that is needed for a test. All in all, the proctor is absolutely horrible experience. Side note: I asked for a different proctor because I felt my privacy was being invaded after 30 minutes of showing my room and in certain areas many times. I was denied. Get new proctors or train them better and this would not be a bad experience.
horrendous to try to install on a mac. thought i wasnt going to be able to access my test because i had no access to proctor and wash past testing time. all the verification takes 30 mins
Better than some programs, worse than others. Crashed twice during my test, but thankfully once you get past the bot replies the real people were good at working around the auto responses and getting me back into my exam.
This would've been advisable. At first, you are actually speaking with an actual proctor. Then answers started to not make sense anymore to your questions. Still preferred the remote setting, but then some instructions are unrealistic like you cannot drink water or go to the restroom.
I had my appointment scheduled for another day but the PSI Secure Browser never let me in and my test was marked as a no show I had to email and call PSI for a week to get another date and to show proof that I did try to attend. When i finally got my appointment it was easier but i got kicked out in the middle of me taking the test. I was then warned that my test was going to be terminated when my lips would move while reading the questions. This whole situation was stressful on top of the anxiety of the test itself you get more even trying to take it.
Software was antiquated, it was hard to read and the proctor practically had me strip down. I got kicked out trying to meet their needs and when I got back in I had to start over. Not even allowed to have a stinking kleenex? What kind of madness is that. The whole thing had me so frazzled I will be shocked if I passed as I went to straight anxiety mode.
Proctors had me show my room like 6 times. Moving unnecessary items that weren't in my reach and I wasn't working in that space. I got kicked off then I had to show my room again. The second proctor had a problem with the gaming monitor that was already off. The experience with the proctor would make a person say forget it and take the test in-person.
It was very frustrating when PSI connection was lost having to go through all the verification process again. I understand it is a different proctor helping, but some how verification process should be less stressful on testing day.
Proctors are incredibly patient, efficient, and helpful! I appreciate the convenience and comfort of testing from home! I'm certain that it eases my anxiety and aided my success!
The proctor was calm and communicative.
It was so stressful, to many questions of the same thing, it need a better way to do this instruction, he made me show my room more than 6 times it was very stressful ,the proctor was not helpful at all, he was interrupting me for no reason when i was taking the exam, I couldn't concentrate on my test at all he was sending text on the chat, it was not a good experience and i could not focus on my test at all. i hope that change because this exam was not good experience at all and it had me so stess by so many question of the protor
First: It was stressful before starting the exam. Proctor has a lot of questions and instructions. Need to remove this and that. asking questions, example when you can see it was a charger and adapter. Repeated the step twice showing my room, in the desk, including printer, under the desk need stuff. all in took 1 HOUR for that! Took more time and not focused on the test already due to stress brought by that! Second: I was already stressed out before starting exam. Had to deal will questions that were not even on the study guide and course I took did not even provide most of the questions! Third: Proctor mentioned I should finish and make sure Practice Test was done when I didn't even encounter it and when I tried to click I can't go back anymore. Kept telling me to just proceed to survey cus it will bring me back to practice test but not. But just directly told m to "end the test".
Proctor was not helpful. Had to wait 15 minutes to get signed in even though I got there early. Extremely fast at telling me to not put my hand on my face and then took minutes to respond to a question I had. Test was annoying as the NHA practice exams, the study guide, and the didactic course I took DID NOT go over certain questions.
Proctor was not helpful. Minimal direction, and poor communication the few times I did have questions.
Very good, helpful and friendly proctor.
Great communication, very helpful.
My proctor was nice and really helpful. My overall experience was great apart from the "leave" button. My proctor didn't seem to be so informed of what was going on so we needed tech help. The tech person was really helpful, but it wasn't a tech issue, but a confusion due to the "leave" button.
During the process of LUNCH TEST, "leave" button makes me so confused. I felt like if I click the button I could leave the test.
It was very stressfull getting into the exam. Proctor was very strict with what you had to do. coudn't even have my hand in my mouth. what sore of cheating was there?
Getting started took a few minutes. My proctor was great. When asked if I had completed all the parts of the test a couple of times I did get very nervous because i was unsure if I had missed a part and didn't realize or just could not locate a portion.
The whole experience was awful! The proctor was barking so many orders at once I could barely keep up to get my work area approved! than the whole time I was taking the test the proctor was picking at me I move my lips when I read to myself, I don't make a noise. and I was putting my hands on my face all things done subconsciously. I could barely concentrate on my test I was trying to control my face movements and hands the whole time!
Getting into the website was stressful, but otherwise it was okay. Now waiting on the result
Proctor was not paying attention and steps had to be repeated.
not bad at all
Getting the website going was a nightmare. I nearly missed my exam time it took 45 minutes to get it launched once in the waiting part to get a proctor it was smooth. I got a proctor they were great. I got to question 125 out of 125 before I could submit the entire site crashed on me. I had to call tech support for the second time for this exam and was able to finish the exam thankfully. I am very disappointed with the efficiency of this website it seems to be full of glitches. Including showing I had 0 bandwidth while my computer still showed I had full connectivity.
I think I was a bit overwhelmed with the information given about PSI proctored online exam and was genuinely scared about all the restrictions, which are all understandable. Although once I started with the process it wasn't so bad. I just am not the type of person who likes to sit for 3 hours for a test lol.
proctor was great but this testing website genuinely almost sent me to the psych ward i literally had to buy a new computer to get it to work and i still almost spiraled out for 15 minutes trying to log into my test on my brand new computer please we have AI we have resources please make it better. but my proctor slayed
Great proctor, we reviewed my environment for 5 minutes and began my exam, they told me not to rest my hand on my face though which is hard not to do during a three hour test, but understandable.
