It has been very helpful for me while in college. It is able to read specially formatted reading materials that other TTS software is unable to do. It sounds more human than the typical robot voice; for FREE! Love it! It has helped cut my reading from several hours for one chapter to just one! Download it now!

Darei 5 estrelas, mas creio que seja necessário fazer com que a inteligência do aplicativo leia títulos e tópicos, e de a pausa necessária, sem emendar direto na próxima frase. Geralmente títulos não tem ponto final ou qualquer outro tipo de pontuação, mas tem parágrafos como intervalo para iniciar o texto. Tópicos tem passagens de linhas. Para que a leitura não seja continua, basta fazer com que a IA do aplicativo entenda isto como ponto final. No demais, o aplicativo funciona muito bem nas paginas WEB e auxilia muito nos estudos, ou enquanto você ouve o texto realizando tarefas domesticas, ou ainda outras simples tarefas que não tomem totalmente sua atenção. O aplicativo é bom e a leitura soa bem natural em relação a outros aplicativos do mesmo patamar.

Great tool! It works super well on pdfs and websites, but not so much on downloaded ones but I usually just copy paste it into a google doc and have that read out loud. I loveee that I can highlight a specific paragraph and have only that one read out to me and I love that it goes up to 2.5x speed, pretty sure other extensions don't do that! I have such a hard time sitting down and reading but this tool helps me out so much! Thank you Read Out Loud :)
